"I checked in here on the 16th, and on the 17th I was going on a day trip across the border from Friendship Pass. Originally, I planned to stay overnight at Detian Waterfall on the evening of the 17th, but it was too late to drive back from the day trip, so I changed my plans and stayed here instead. The landlady happened to be making alkaline rice dumplings (zongzi). I tried the sweet ones for breakfast, and also some savory ones she made with some kind of tree leaf – both were delicious! Honestly, the room was impeccably clean. There wasn't a speck of dust on the floor. There were disposable slippers and sterilized, sealed rubber slippers. Although I brought my own slippers and didn't use the ones in the room, it still felt quite nice. There was a simple clothes rack in the room, which was a nice touch! The disposable cups in the room were all individually sealed! The room was spacious enough, and for the price, including breakfast, it was a great deal. The experience was comparable to brand-name chain hotels like Yishang. In short, if you're planning a trip to Friendship Pass, staying here is definitely the best value!"
