"It was a first time stay at a Fairfield Inn and it will not be our last. We gratefully appreciated the early check-in, as we seniors drove over 3 1/2 hours. The location is excellent and the Inn easy to find, along with the parking. The hotel lobby, elevators, and rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. We were given a nice, quiet room, too. We did not use the swimming pool, but it looked from afar. We also did not stay for the continental breakfast, as we met family at a close restaurant. The room was equipped with a small coffee maker and a refrigerator, which made out stay more comfortable. The hotel staff was accommodating in moving us to a new room in a quiet area and very pleasant."

"The afternoon we checked in, I discovered a "wad" of hair (human) in the desk chair; it looked like someone had cut off a ponytail and left it there....where was Housekeeping? Then the next day I woke up with what I thought were mosquito bites. It turns out that the prior people using the room had a dog (or dogs?) and the room was never sanitized so I ended up with flea bites. Big deal...they comped us one of the 2 nights we stayed there. DON'T EVER STAY HERE IF THIS IS THEIR IDEA OF HOUSEKEEPING."

"Er is gratis parkeergelegenheid. De kamer was rustig, goed ingedeeld en schoon, hoewel de waterdruk van de douche wat laag was. Het ontbijt was prima, in Amerikaanse stijl, en er was genoeg te eten. Het restaurant was in verbouwing, dus de ruimte was misschien wat krap. Het is 18 minuten met de taxi naar het strand. Het ligt relatief dicht bij ALD. Over het algemeen is het erg makkelijk om je te verplaatsen."

(2) Door lock/closing mechanism, although working, was almost falling off the door. (3) No box of tissues supplied with room (4) Tiny bathroom with mini-sized toilet and bathtub that had no anti-slip surface and was not thoroughly clean to boot. (5) No dedicated parking, requiring use of municipal lot about 1/2 block away ($16/day). (6) Weekend street noise (cars & motorcyles speeding and revving) late at night Summary: You get what you pay for."
