"Centrally located hotel in the heart of Pienza. Everything was perfect: modern and clean rooms, free on-site parking available for guests. The pool was a welcome addition during these hot days. The breakfast was amazing, both sweet and savory, with excellent homemade products (not least the yogurt from the famous Cugusi dairy!). The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to make us feel at home. We'll definitely be back!"

"Superlatieven schieten tekort als je het gevoel van Podere Spedalone wil beschrijven. We lazen de andere beoordelingen en waren bang dat we met te hoge verwachtingen op weg gingen. Maar niets is minder waar. Woorden schieten tekort. Onze kamer (32... maar ze hebben 13 kamers haha) was comfortabel met erg breed bed. Maar we verbleven vooral buiten bij het zwembad of op het grote terras. Pratend met Alessandro of andere gasten op het terras met geweldig uitzicht. Alle avonden aperetivo met fabelachtige zonsondergang en gegeten aan de lange tafels. Heerlijk eten en drinken in een geweldige omgeving. Wijn en verhalen gedeeld, gelachen en vrienden uit de hele wereld gemaakt. Deze plek en de gastheer trekken positieve, hartelijke mensen aan. Oprecht blij voor alle momenten, maar met heimwee in ons hart, kunnen we zeggen dat dit onze nummer 1 in Toscane is. En we hebben al heel wat geweldige accomodaties mogen ervaren. We komen zeker terug... wat zal voelen als thuiskomen."

"It was the best location to watch the Tuscan sunset, but because the host was busy as a farmer, check-in was after 5 PM, and although I booked a garden view room, all I could see was the roof of the building in front and a farm shed. There was no air conditioning, so I slept with all the windows open, and it was very hot, feeling like I was camping. For breakfast, I had to prepare the bread, drinks, and fruit myself, even though they had already provided them. If watching the sunset is your goal, a one-night stay might be okay, but for a two-day stay like mine, it didn't provide the relaxing experience I had hoped for."

"Our private Tuscany townhouse! Note: We traveled the week leading into Christmas and the entire town and the neighboring areas were all very quiet. There were a few restaurants and shops open but the town itself was very empty, with no tourists (which was great for us). My husband discovered La Bandita in CN Traveler and we were so excited to check it out. It was the perfect destination for our holiday getaway. Paola and Alessio were very helpful with helping coordinate the trip. They helped with restaurant reservations and gave great recommendations of things to do. Ask them about the thermal baths/pools at Albergo Posat Marcucci - they'll help arrange and provide a voucher. We were upgraded to a bigger room (because we were the only ones there) which was really comfortable. The bathroom was large with the tub, a shower, and a heated drying rack. Great water pressure from the shower. The one downside was there was this musty smell throughout the room - I think it's because of the lack of air circulation throughout. There's a restaurant onsite that had amazing reviews but it was closed for the holiday. We'll have to go back. There is also a beautifully designed "living room" where they have a record player and records, games, books, and a bar - they offer free prosecco apertivo and then everything else on an honor system. We didn't get the full Bandita experience but will definitely be back. "

"Op zich een prima hotel, maar ook echt niet meer dan dat. Inchecken kan maar tot 6 uur, want na die tijd is er niemand meer aanwezig. Dan is er in noodgevallen een telefoonnummer beschikbaar, maar de receptie is dan volledig onbemand. Ontbijt moet de avond ervoor doorgegeven worden. Is prima ontbijt, maar toch onhandig. Maar wat ik vooral vervelend vond was de douche, de temperatuur en de kracht van de straal waren niet constant. Dat was niet eenmalig toevallig zou, maar alle keren zo. Daarnaast is de ligging inderdaad perfect, de gastheer is vriendelijk en het bed ligt prima. Maar ik vind de prijs kwaliteit verhouding niet in lijn."
