Note for foreign travelers: Due to the hotel’s proximity to the border, all foreign guests are required to register at the local police station before checking in. This appears to be a standard procedure for all hotels in the area. Overall, highly recommended for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

Clean room, decent bathroom. However, there was no toilet paper and the towels provided were hand towels instead of full sized bath towels. The rooms are packed near each other and the walls are thin so there was so much noise from neighbors late at night and early morning. I would not stay there again.

Room was affordable, so not that fancy (cold through the night, mysterious smell, no door to bathroom), but the staff were lovely and helpful. They also served authentic local food in the mornings (free) and evenings (charged). Overall we had a memorable, nice time and really enjoyed meeting the staff, but be aware of the cold during Autumn if you plan to visit.
