"The hotel is fabulous and the Selkirk suite is superb. The food was sublime and the grounds are beautiful. My only gripe is that in the middle of winter, none of the gorgeous fires were lit in the public rooms, and this is one of the biggest attractions. In spite of the hotel being warm, there is nothing to beat the flames and ambience of an open fire. It felt a bit flat sitting next to a magnificent fireplace with no glow."

"Nice enough hotel good large clean room and bathroom. We didn't eat in the evening but did have an excellant breakfast. A couple of people we were talking to said their breakfast was slow service so we expected that but everything was great. Slight issue was slowish bar service as only one person working Played golf on a lovely course which is quite challenging but very enjoyable. Looking forward to heading there again later in the year"
