"This was such a delightful stay. Athena the host is equally delightful. She picked us up at Midnight from the ferry even though it is a 5 minute walk that would be complicated at 12am. The Greek breakfast is fresh and good. The rooms are very clean and lovely. We could see the sunset and ocean from our double doors and balcony. The location has been perfect. We have traveled the whole island. We leave tonight at 10pm and the owners are allowing us to keep our room. I will definitely be back. This island is such a peaceful island. Beaches are beautiful as are the holy sights"

"Onze recente verblijf was onze vierde op Patmos Aktis, en het herinnerde ons nogmaals waarom we terugkomen. Van het moment dat je aankomt, is er een gevoel van rust die het zo gemakkelijk te ontspannen. Het hotel is prachtig ontworpen, met prachtige tuinen, elegante ruimten en een positie die perfect aanvult op de natuurlijke schoonheid van Patmos. Lia hielp ons met haar gewone warmte en vriendelijkheid en liet ons onmiddellijk thuis voelen. Haar echte glimlach, aandacht voor de details en een gemakkelijke professionalisme weerspiegelen perfect de uitzonderlijke gastvrijheid van het hele team. Onze kamer was uitstekend, met een zeer comfortabel bed en alles wat we nodig hadden voor een ontspannen vakantie. Het strand voor het hotel is simpelweg uitstaande kristallklar water, met comfortabele zonnelounges, en de perfecte plek om de dag te doorbrengen. Een bijzondere dank aan Kostis, Elias en Nicos voor hun vriendelijke en aandachtige service op het strand. Het ontbijt was nog eens een grote nadruk, dankzij Panagiotis, wiens warme welkom en aandacht voor elke gast nooit onopgemerkt werd. We hebben ook een prachtig diner gehad bij Barolo Patmos, waar zowel het eten als de service uitstekend waren. Na jarenlang veel van het eiland te hebben onderzocht, waren we deze keer perfect blij om onze dagen in het hotel te verblijven, genieten van het prachtige strand, uitstekende service en prachtig ontspannen sfeer. Dank u allen in Patmos Aktis voor een ander herinnerbaar verblijf. We lieten ons verfrissen, nagekeken en al wachten op terugkeer."

"Familiehotel met zeer gunstig, beschikbaar en vriendelijk personeel. De kamers zijn goed, je voelt je comfortabel, kort als thuis, stress minder. We hebben een prachtige week doorgebracht met de mogelijkheid om onze auto's, scooters of buggy in de parkeerplaats in het centrum van de stad te laten."

"Wij waren vorig jaar ongeveer een weekje in het Skala Hotel geweest. De ontvangst was super en ons werd gelijk een plattegrond gegeven en om cirkeld wat leuk was om te doen. In de ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt , nadat je een heerlijke nacht geslapen had in je kamer met airconditioning. Wakker worden met een prachtig uitzicht. Heerlijke eettentjes in de buurt , mooie strandjes . Een auto en of fiets heel makkelijk te huren. Een heerlijk zwembad waar je kon chillen als je een dag was weg geweest. Kortom een fijne plek om tot rust te komen. Bij leven en welzijn gaan we 5 juni weer het is al geboekt. Groetjes Henk en Wilma uit Nederland"

"First of all, let me mention that we had 4 very hot days on the island. But the air conditioner had a very hard time cooling the room and made noise during its operation. The room every time we came back, noon or night, was too hot and had no other opening than the balcony door to make electricity and change the air quickly, so we were forced to leave the door of the room to the corridor open and the door of the corridor to the outside area as well so that there is electricity and after about ten minutes we close them and turn on the air conditioning. The view from the room was very nice, on the bay, but at any time of the day you couldn't sit on the balcony because of the heat. The furniture in the room very old and the mattress not comfortable (at least for me who is quite heavy). The shower very small, fortunately with a fabric curtain that doesn't stick to you like the plastic one. The hotel has a very nice small pool overlooking the bay and shaded in its corners by 2 trees, the only new and the only nice one in the hotel. The ground has a big slope so the hotel is built on levels, but it does not have an elevator (we were told they will have one next summer). From our room to the street where we parked it was 4 floors, with stairs, and another one below the room the pool. Parking in road widenings. The staff was very kind and helpful but few for the size of the hotel, something that was mainly seen at breakfast. Plates were getting empty and you had to ask for them to be refilled, apparently why didn't they have time? The breakfast was full but typical, of average quality and without anything interesting. Also, the extra charge at breakfast for any coffee (espresso, Greek) other than filter makes a bad impression. Overall, despite the friendly staff, it was not a pleasant stay."
