Nirvana Inn
"De locatie is goed, er zijn restaurants en begeleidende winkels in de buurt te kopen. De service is zeer goed, het hotel is allemaal zeer vriendelijk en intim, en heeft twee warme koffie voor ons. Het ontbijt is heerlijk en lekker, de laatste dag is het vliegtuig nog vroeg voor ons ontbijt voorbereid. Er wordt zeer aanbevolen ~"
Tenzinling Resort
"The service at this hotel is excellent. The staff welcomed us immediately, gave us welcome tea, and showed us to our room. Our room was clean, had excellent amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and our host Suk Bahadur was very kind and thoughtful. The perfect stop for our final night in Bhutan."
Hotel Center Point
"Dit hotel ligt in het hart van de PARO stad in Bhutan en ligt op een wandeling afstand van de hoofdmarkt van de stad. De stad is geweldig met prachtige landschappen en een grote pluspunt wanneer uw hotel is op een steen gooien afstand voor alle activiteiten in PARO. Het museum, fort, rivier, luchthaven op een uitzichtbare afstand.De dienst is geweldig en het eten is zeer heerlijk,"
Paro Heritage Hotel
"Lovingly restored oldest hotel in Paro with amazing views, great coffee and karma. We enjoyed a wonderful traditional Bhutanese banquet dinner and western breakfast."
Spirit of Bhutan Resort
"Schattig klein hotel. Het personeel is zo opmerkzaam en echt zeker dat alle comfort werd ontmoet. Ik vond het leuk om te leren over Bhutan (cultuur, geschiedenis, huidige zaken) gewoon van lang gesprekken met hen wachten op het diner. Het eten was ook echt goed."
Rema Resort
"Rema resort staff service is par excellence. We visited them on our anniversary eve and they decorated our room. Any request was always quickly honored and answered. Location is also driving distance from main market. View from room and resort are lovely."

"We had a wonderful family lunch at Taj Paro today. The food was excellent, a special thanks to Chef Satyajeet for creating such a memorable dining experience. Mr. Ayush for taking the time to show us around the beautiful property and making us feel so welcome. We also appreciate the warm hospitality from Sangeeta, Tashi, Sanju and Bhim, who looked after us with genuine warmth and hospitality throughout our visit. We truly enjoyed our time and look forward to visiting again..."
Zhiwaling Heritage Hotel
"I stayed at this hotel as part of an 11 day multilocation group tour. The hotel was fabulous and I highly recommend it. The staff were helpful and sincerely gracious. The rooms and dining space was lovely and the main building upper floors were like a museum with many historical pictures and items."
Como Uma Paro
"We made a decision to upgrade our itinerary right before we left home and I’m so glad we did. The beautiful setting up the mountain from the town of Paro was a respite of complete comfort with an outstanding staff. Khara and Kuenga at the desk were kind and very helpful as was the sweet woman in the gift shop. Jigme, in the restaurant, couldn't be more warm and attentive. I’m sorry I don’t have all of the names of everyone who made us feel so welcomed and cared for. It was hard to beat the incredible meals, the lovely pool, spa and yoga classes. Also, my son thoroughly enjoyed the ability to play archery and darts on property. After hiking during the day, there was nothing like coming back to the peaceful and quiet setting of Uma Como Paro with a staff that went out of their way to care for every need. It was hard to leave!"
Tashiling Hotel
"Really a great place to stay. Room rates are Really cheap and food is great with friendly staff. Worth visiting this place at Paro."
Olathang Cottages
"Absolutely stunning location, beautiful lodge with a recently refurbished shower room which was huge. We absolutely loved it in our lodge. So peaceful, we were sad to leave. Evening buffet was good, specially prepared for the few tourists that were there. Breakfast ok, but it would have been lovely to have had more fresh fruit and curd available, we did ask and got some. Excellent Masala tea."
Dzi Pema
"I had a great room with awesome views from my glassed in sunporch at this lovely hotel. It is fairly small in a calm, quiet setting up on a hillside just outside Paro (near airport). It is very close to Paro and probably walkable if you don't mind a steep hill with no footpath. I took a lovely walk up the hill from the hotel which had little traffic, forest and views. The hotel was very clean, had the best hot shower I had while in Bhutan (including amenities such as a blow dryer). Bed was firm and comfy and though I saw no source of heat I had plenty of warm blankets & outside temps were cool but not cold. Good breakfast and dinner. Staff is lovely."
Tsherim Resort
"The pillow was soft. Good service, friendly staffs, new property.. Open karaoke Warm wellcome 5 min drive from paro town Good management Immediate helping hand from all team members. Nice location 👍👍👍👍👍👍"
Gawaling Hotel
"We traveled to Paro Bhutan and stayed in Hotel Gawaling, it is a small Boutique Resort near the river, which gives a pleasant view in morning. Hotel staff define the hospitality. Food is nice. Would like to suggest everyone."
Hotel Dorjiling
"Er is een groot winkelcentrum naast het hotel, er is een grote markt in de buurt van het hotel. In het algemeen is de locatie van het hotel zeer goed en een goede plek voor vrije tijd. De hotelkosten omvatten ontbijt, lunch en diner, die zelf moeten worden betaald, maar de prijs is niet duur."
Treenz Lite Paro
"This was my first time staying in a hotel run by Indians, and it was quite an unforgettable experience. The toilet smelled terrible, the location was inconvenient, the sound of people washing dishes next to me was very loud, the service was alright, and the breakfast was okay, but I wouldn't go back."
The Village Lodge Paro
"The hotel itself is ok. The night shift staff lady was very nice. The beds are comfortable enough for couple night. The floor is dusty. Over all, it was a quiet and ok place to stay BUT the only thing I don't like was the way they transfer our luggages from the front gate to our room. To be able to get to the hotel you have to walk thru a dirty path with animals poop. So our luggages were smelly, the poop smell allover our luggages wheels. Luckily, I had my disaffection spray with me. I sprayed my luggages before we transfer to another hotel."
Taktshang Paradise
"This hotel is very good value for money considering its price range. The staff and owner are super hospitable and very accommodating to guests’ needs. The food is good, and the location is close to Tiger’s Nest so it’s a great option for those hiking up to the monastery next morning. Overall highly recommended."
Naksel Boutique Hotel & Spa
"I was in Bhutan for 10 days and wanted to finish the trip with a better hotel near the Tigers Nest and that is why I selected the Naksel. This was my choice rather than the suggested hotel from the guide. I’m not quite sure how it gets its 4* star rating or what quite qualifies it to call itself luxury and boutique. It reminds me of 1970s ski lodges with a lot of pine and it does have that old-fashioned feel about it. We were greeted with a lukewarm drink upon arrival and I was disappointed to find that the security lock to the bedroom was broken and that the room safe opened with a standard default number. That means anyone could open your safe if they had access to your room. The double bed in the bedroom was very small despite having adequate room for a larger one. The toiletries in the bathroom were of a budget quality and certainly didn’t reflect what the hotel was trying to achieve. The pillows on the bed were of a cheap foam and not particularly comfortable. There was only one toilet roll in the bathroom which ran out. The bar area was pleasant with a nice terrace outside with good views, however there were no cushions or blankets on any of the chairs. You would struggle to sit out there in the cool weather. There was also a nice room on the terrace with a log burner but it was hopeless trying to use it as the fire was never lit. There also no fresh flowers anywhere or complementary fruit etc which is unusual for a hotel that calls its self 4* star and luxury. The nuts that were served with my apéritif prior to dinner were the standard that you would probably feed your hamster. This was the only place in my 10 day trip where all the prices were quoted in US dollars which is strange for a country that wants to maintain its own identity. It was also adds another 10% service and 10% tax to all bills. It called itself a spa but the spa was slightly away from the hotel and nothing was included in the room rate. Usually a steam room or sauna would be included in your price. The restaurant was alright but unfortunately breakfast finished by 9 am . There was also no fresh fruit on one of the days and the jams available were the cheapest catering ones you could ever find. It would be so easy to improve this place but until then I would say somewhere else on my next trip."
