Hotels met parkeergelegenheid in Oslo

Overall, my stay was pleasant. Although there was a slight hiccup with my room booking that delayed my check-in, I appreciated the efforts from both the hotel reception (especially Jordan) and Trip’s representative (Nico) in resolving the matter promptly. The room itself was fairly basic, but the superb location and delicious breakfast more than made up for it. I would definitely consider returning and staying again with Clarion Hotels

Perfectly acceptable hotel room, nice bathroom. 15 mins into the City Centre on the tram/tube that's 5 minutes walk away. Amazing spread for breakfast. Very nice staff at reception/restaurant and cleaning/maintenance staff. Lovely Thai restaurant opposite.

Een mooie kamer maar wel een aantal teleurstellingen meegemaakt. Hotelgasten moeten een dagelijkse toeslag betalen om de zwembaden te gebruiken EN op het aangegeven tijdstip te boeken. Ik heb dit NOOIT in welk hotel dan ook ter wereld meegemaakt. Ik zat in een premium kamer, maar dit beleid geldt voor alle gasten, wat ik verschrikkelijk vind. Het was ook onmogelijk om tijdens mijn verblijf een spa-afspraak te krijgen. Geen voorkeur voor hotelgasten. Ik raad u ten zeerste aan om spabehandelingen minimaal een week voor aankomst te boeken. Ook is er geen turndownservice, ongebruikelijk voor een duur 5* hotel. De schoonmaak is ook erg vroeg klaar, of is niet geïnteresseerd in gasten die zich niet aan hun schema houden. Ik moest in mijn kamer werken, maar vertrok om 14.45 uur en deze werd niet schoongemaakt ondanks het signaal dat de kamer moest worden ingemaakt. Het receptieteam was beleefd, maar chaotisch. Over het algemeen lijken de restaurants van het hotel meer gericht op catering voor gasten van buitenaf, wat jammer is.

De familiekamer die we geboekt hebben, heeft twee eenpersoonsbedden en een slaapbank, maar biedt geen uitzicht. De kamer bevindt zich op de eerste verdieping en er is een fort buiten het raam. Wilt u tijdens uw vakantie een beter uitzicht en landschap, dan kunt u een superior familiekamer boeken. De superior familiekamer is groter, uitgerust met twee eenpersoonsbedden en een stapelbed, en er is een gazon buiten. De prijs is wat hoog, maar de algehele kwaliteit van de Scandinavische keuken is goed, het ontbijt is gestandaardiseerd, er is een skigebied naast het hotel en het hoogste punt biedt een panoramisch uitzicht over Oslo, wat erg schokkend is.

great boutique hotel! only unfortunate thing is that the breakfast only opens at 8am on weekends so we missed it due to an early flight, but they made up for it with a breakfast to-go when we checked out!

Het hotel ligt op 5-6 minuten lopen van het treinstation, vlak bij de zee. Het heeft een kleine lobby, maar we zouden ook enkele tafels van het restaurant kunnen gebruiken, terwijl we de hele dag door kunnen genieten van gratis koffie of thee. Het biedt ook een licht diner bij de prijs inbegrepen en het was een van de redenen waarom ik ervoor heb gekozen. Het diner bestaat uit een buffet met enkele salades en geweldige dressings, evenals een dagelijkse soep, een maaltijd en versgebakken brood. Het ontbijt was erg lekker, prachtig gedecoreerd op een kleine tafel - inclusief verschillende opties voor elke smaak, onmiddellijk opnieuw gevuld wanneer het werd geleegd. Alles wat aangeboden werd was van hoge kwaliteit. Er is ook een gratis fitnessruimte en een sauna. De kamer is niet groot, maar voldoende. Leuke decoratie. Niet te grote bedden in een twin. Het toilet is vrij klein, met een intelligente douchecabine. Mooie grote ramen met de hele dag zon. Verrassend genoeg was er geen koelkast. De TV had slechts enkele nationale zenders. Alle medewerkers zijn zeer beleefd en behulpzaam. Ik kreeg de kamer onmiddellijk bij aankomst - een paar uur vóór de officiële inchecktijd. Het uitchecken is echt prima - ingesteld om 12.00 uur. Er is een zeer kleine, maar gratis bagageruimte. Eindelijk: ik kreeg er een zeer goede prijs voor op Trip.com, vergeleken met de andere aanbieders.

Simple hotel, yet clean. Staff are very helpful. Location is easy walk from the train station through the shopping mall, but it is not exactly near the center of attractions. Breakfast is simple but very nice (really love their croissants). Appreciate the breakfast pack given by the hotel for us also; since our train to Bergen is very early in the morning 🙂

I stayed in the Junior Suite at Scandic Byporten and had an excellent experience. The location is perfect — directly connected to Oslo Central Station, which makes traveling around the city and to the airport incredibly convenient. The suite was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the large windows with great city views and the cozy seating area, which made the room feel more like a small apartment than a hotel. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The staff were professional, welcoming, and efficient. Breakfast was another highlight — a wide variety of fresh and tasty options, including local specialties. Overall, my stay was smooth and relaxing. The Junior Suite is definitely worth it if you want extra comfort and space in the heart of Oslo. Highly recommended!

For our stay, we booked a studio apartment at The Sweet. The room was lovely and kitchenette was well-equipped. We were able to cook meals there over the days of Christmas when most restaurants and shops were closed. The location is a little outside of the center- nice and quiet but easy to access public transit. My biggest issue with this hotel was that communication was very… odd. As the booking notes, I called the hotel in advance to schedule my check-in. When my call was answered, I told them who I was and that I was calling to schedule my check in (for a time when the booking said check in is available). I was told no one would be at reception at that time (3pm on Dec 23) and they would text me instructions for how to check myself in. Then she confirmed my phone number and asked for my email address, but when I started to give it, she said, “oh, that’s ok. We can’t use email anyway”. Odd. Before getting off the phone, I had her confirm that I would receive a text the next day with instructions to check in. Our train arrived around 2pm in Oslo and we still hadn’t received a text, so we waited at the train station thinking perhaps they would send the text right at 3pm since that was the time I had requested. At 3, I still hadn’t received anything, so we called the hotel again. A different employee answered from the one I had spoken to the day before. I gave my name and explained that I was calling because I had scheduled check in the day before but hadn’t received the information to check in. The employee asked where I was and told me that there were people staffing reception to help us check in, which I thought was odd because the previous employee told me no one would be there. When we got to the hotel, we rang the bell and got into the building, but reception is apparently in the basement- there is only a very tiny sign that says this- so we missed it and I called them again. A man came up with our keys and got us set to go. We got into our room and it was lovely! About 5 hours later, I got a call from Trip saying that the hotel is trying to contact me because they are wondering why I hadn’t checked in and they don’t have a way to get in touch with me. I was sitting in the hotel room when I got this call. I told the Trip representative that I was checked in and it was fine for her to give my phone and email to the hotel. I know the communication elements have taken up a huge portion of my review and I know they are not the end of the world, but I want to share them because I believe it would be quite simple to avoid situations like this in the future and make the guest experience that much more pleasant at The Sweet. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oslo!

Apartment in great location - easy and picturesque walk or quick subway to central station and downtown area. Great little kitchenette to cook your own meals to save $ with supermarket nearby. Bathroom with washing machine, our washed clothes dried overnight hung up in bathroom because of floor heating. Easy & quick check in process even though no reception. There are staff on site - I got extra towels as soon as I asked. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Oslo.
