Nestled gracefully in Tengchong, lauded as the Hometown of Jade and the First Frontier City, our hotel boasts an exceptionally prime location. To the north lie a host of iconic cultural landmarks, including Sanqiao Bridge, the Mother Statue of Gaoligong Mountain and Tengyue Cultural Square, while the scenic Dieshui River Area stretches to its east. Framed by picturesque mountains and rivers and served by an extensive, efficient transport network, the hotel delivers unmatched convenience and comfort for every guest’s journey and stay.
Drawing spiritual inspiration from Alcimandra cathcartii, a rare endemic treasure of Gaoligong Mountain, the hotel positions itself as an immersive wellness sanctuary where guests may reconnect with body and soul. We weave the organic grace of mountain forests and the profound historical heritage of Tengyue into every architectural detail, allowing visitors to escape urban clamour and lay down all physical and mental fatigue the moment they step inside. Tenacious, upward-striving and thriving in symbiotic coexistence, the flower embodies the pioneering spirit of ancient southwestern caravan merchants and encapsulates the profound natural legacy of Gaoligong Mountain, crafting a dual haven for bodily relaxation and spiritual solace. Blessed with Tengchong’s unparalleled geothermal resources, our bespoke hot spring wellness zone features pristine natural thermal waters paired with professional physiotherapy treatments. Wrapped in soft curling mist, the hot springs cradle guests into deep tranquility, restoring inner balance and gifting them renewed mental and physical vitality.
Committed to empowering local cultural inheritance, the hotel has created a diverse array of immersive cultural spaces. The Caravan Cultural Exhibition Area revisits the glorious trade tales of the ancient Southwest Silk Road, carries forward the timeless virtue of integrity along mountain trails, and recreates the magnificent era of cross-border commerce and cultural integration. Our Intangible Cultural Heritage & Creative Zone highlights indigenous folk craftsmanship represented by Tengchong shadow puppetry, reviving traditional ingenuity through vivid, living demonstrations. The Gaoligong Mountain Specimen Gallery showcases the stunning biodiversity of this famed World Species Gene Bank in all its splendour, whilst the Ancient Tea Trail Experience Area interprets the oriental poetic philosophy of harmony between tea and meditation amid lingering tea aromas. As the hotel’s iconic landmark, the butterfly spiral staircase takes "metamorphosis and rebirth" as its design motif. Its sinuous winding layout paired with artistic visual composition composes an aesthetic poem of transformation and hope, perfectly resonating with our brand ethos of natural healing and self-renewal.

"The hotel's hot springs are a definite highlight. Upon check-in, guests also receive an incense stick and a 'goodnight' linen spray. The specimen exhibition in the hotel lobby is also a beautiful and attractive feature. However, as a five-star hotel, there's still room for improvement.
The laundry room was quite chaotic due to a lack of supervision. With many people using it, wet clothes that weren't promptly removed were just tossed aside, not even put into the dryer, making it a hassle to find your own laundry. While this issue is partly due to guest etiquette, proper hotel management could certainly mitigate such incidents. For comparison, HUAZHANG Hotel always offers a great laundry experience.
Also, the fruits at breakfast, like the grapes, weren't very sweet. Given that August is when Yunnan has an abundance of delicious seasonal fruits, the hotel could definitely choose better options.
After we checked out, the front desk called to ask about an umbrella from our room. My friend and I were both surprised because we never saw an umbrella in the room to begin with. Although it was a misunderstanding, it did leave a bit of a sour taste. If items like that aren't meant for guests to take, they shouldn't be left in the room. Or at least, there should be clear signs or protective measures in place to prevent confusion and disputes over responsibility."
