"Een hotel met een prachtig uitzicht en goede faciliteiten. De kamer is ruim, maar de prijs per nacht viel tegen toen we de staat van hygiëne constateerden. De gordijnen waren stoffig, er zaten spinnenwebben in de hoeken van de ramen en het meest teleurstellend was het bad, dat vol schimmel en vuil zat. Anders was het een perfecte locatie geweest om te verblijven in de omgeving van Sun Moon Lake!"

"This is a hotel that is still in its trial opening. Only a few rooms are available for booking and some facilities are not available yet. The hardware is not bad but the software of running the hotel day to day is not there yet. The breakfast is a vegetarian tasting menu, food is good but concept is unusual for breakfasts. I do feel it’s overpriced at this point. The staff are friendly and doing their best."

"Great view from the hotel and location is very close to Qingjing farm. Amenity like 7/11 and mos burger are close by. But if you aren’t driving. Then you have to walk abit to the hotel. Plus there is no lift and there are quite a number of stairs you need to climb to get there. Probably not suitable for family with elderly."

"De kamer was oké. Niets bijzonders. Douche was prima. Mooi uitzicht op het meer. Ik zat in een vierpersoonskamer met uitzicht op het meer. Het ontbijt bestond, zoals altijd in dit geweldige land, voornamelijk uit lokale gerechten. Op de reserveringspagina wordt een westers ontbijt aangekondigd, maar het bestaat dan alleen uit gekookte eieren, brood, boter en jam. Niet genoeg voor een hotel van 100 dollar per nacht. Ik heb de eerste dag geklaagd en de t****e dag - DIT WAS ERG AARDIG! - heeft een van de medewerkers een omelet, croissants en Oreo's voor me klaargemaakt. Ik waardeer dat enorm. Het was echter een persoonlijke actie van dit meisje; het hotel zou meer westerse opties moeten aanbieden, of het niet zo moeten aankondigen dat je zelf kunt kiezen of je het bij het ontbijt wilt. Een gemiddeld hotel met een mooi uitzicht, maar niets bijzonders."

GGastgebruikerAs we took bus from Taichung to sun moon lake area, this bnb is very convenient . Only around 100 m from drop off point also closed to the pier where lake boat tour start . Breakfast is simple but good . Coffee machine provided in reception area. Nice middle age lady attend to us in the reception. We booked quadruple room for 3 persons.

Amazing buffet for breakfast/brunch and dinner.
Hotel amenities are 11/10 - hotel provides daily bus ticket, map of the area, pillow choices, bike rental services, pool, public baths, and game area.
Hotel is a conveniently a stop on the bus route.
Gym is a bit lacking though (only yoga mats, treadmills, weights up to ~25kg, and one lat pulldown machine).

AAnonieme gebruikerDe locatie is fantastisch, midden in Yida Thao ❤️, met een eersteklas uitzicht op het meer en midden op het meer. Het adembenemende uitzicht op Sun Moon Lake was adembenemend toen ik de kamer binnenkwam. De kamer was schoon en comfortabel, met oog voor detail. Het bed was comfortabel, de airconditioning was lekker koud en er waren voldoende stopcontacten. Wat het meest verrassend was, was de brandschone tafel en stoelen op het balkon met uitzicht op het meer. Zelfs de tafels en stoelen buiten waren brandschoon, wat zeldzaam is.
Op het balkon zitten en genieten van de schoonheid van Sun Moon Lake is echt een heerlijke ervaring. Ik kan Mingyue Lake Hotel van harte aanbevelen.

JJack Maa”For Non-Drivers: Navigating Transportation Can Be Tricky, but Exceptional Service and Spectacular Views Await”
If you don't have access to a car, be prepared for a few transportation challenges. Walking to and from the bus stop to Cing Jing Farm can be a bit challenging, as there are no dedicated pedestrian pathways, and you'll be sharing the road with trucks and lorries. The nearest 711 convenience store is a considerable distance away, and I wouldn't recommend walking there due to safety concerns.
On the plus side, the hotel's customer service is exceptional, particularly their prompt responses on LINE. They were incredibly helpful in answering my questions about navigating the sometimes confusing public transport system.
One of the standout features is the breathtaking view from the balcony. On clear days, you can enjoy unforgettable sunsets, making it a fantastic spot to relax. While some guests have mentioned concerns about sound insulation, I personally didn't find it to be a major issue. However, it's worth noting that noise from neighboring rooms, especially if there are children, maybe more noticeable due to the wooden floors.

GGastgebruikerThe hotel is ok but the room is big. The restaurant in the hotel is a must try. My daughter LOVEs every dishes she ordered. She said, this is the best food she had in Taiwan, so we had two dinners at the hotel. The location of the hotel is not great! We couldn’t get into the local buses to go to Xitou nor to Taichung because the buses were full from the original starting point. However, the hotel offers fare shuttle service to and from Xitou but not Shanlinxi. The front desk lady drove us to Xitou, she was GREAT and very accommodating, she took us to Xitou bus station outside of the normal schedule hours so we can catch the bus back to Taichung. We would come back again with our car to get to different areas in Xitou again.

Kamer gereserveerd was alle meer uitzicht dubbele suite, vrij teleurgesteld met de ruimte, maar het meer uitzicht is nog steeds geweldig (geen balkon)
Towel en andere spullen zijn niet gratis, ze hebben een prijslijst voor het, dus het is beter om een klein towel te bereiden wanneer u bezoek. (hairddroger geleverd)
De diensten waren geweldig, zeer aardig en vriendelijk voor de klanten.
Ontbijt beschikbaar, het was buffet vorm van lokale gerechten (porridges en zijden, met ook drankjes)
Overall Rating 7.5/10, is een geweldige plek om te blijven, maar misschien niet opnieuw bezoek in een gemiddelde tijd.

GGastgebruikerReally like the location and room lake view. The room is very clean, beds are big and comfortable. The balcony is my favourite place. However, the shower is open with no glass screens or curtains so water splashing everywhere on toilet and floor. And the breakfast is not so good, my son refused to go for the second morning because the food is not cooked deliciously and not much to choose from. My husband waited for the milk for coffee machine for a long time, it seems that staff is not familiar with what is supposed to do. The only things we like are the hot soy milk and the salad.

Owner will pick up from the pier bus station when you arrive, and send you back upon check out. Just need to call and let them know. Only setback is food options are a bit far from the hotel.

藍藍藍_藍梓凝Het eten was uitstekend. Mijn familie was erg te spreken over de verse sashimi en garnalen, en de meeste gerechten waren heerlijk.
De service en attentheid van het personeel waren uitstekend. Het ligt ook heel dicht bij de bezienswaardigheden en er speelde zelfs een band, wat me echt geruststelde.
De enige twee minpunten die ik had, waren:
Het eerste was de waterdispenser. We woonden in twee gebouwen, maar alleen B1 had er een, wat erg onhandig was, omdat we er constant naartoe moesten om ons water bij te vullen.
Het t****e minpunt was het ontbreken van een stopcontact bij het bed, wat een probleem was voor mijn vriendin, die graag haar telefoon oplaadt en naar slaapmuziek luistert bij haar bed.
Een van de apparaten in de sportschool leek kapot te zijn en ik hoop dat het snel gerepareerd kan worden. Als ze gemakkelijk een reparatie konden aanvragen, had dit misschien eerder aangepakt kunnen worden.
De geluidsisolatie was acceptabel, en hoewel het bedontwerp niet bepaald beroertevriendelijk was voor een senior, was het toch acceptabel.

KKris Tine SoThe hotel is very near the drop off point and is located at an area with lots of restaurants and bike rental shops. We got upgraded to a room with a balcony and a view of the parking lot and the lake. The room was so spacious and had its own jacuzzi and bathroom, which was a big plus. The free breakfast buffet was in another hotel nearby, but it was good as it's facing the lake. A total value for money!
