Service: BELOW AVERAGE (Replied the Staff via WeChat on Seasonal Sweet Soup delivery timing but ultimately informed it’s running out unavailable), 4. Others: Room booking inclusive of Cocktail & Hanfu experience photography were the Vendors inside Xitang Ancient Town where the later just those very old costumes for FREE digital photo x 5 5. Experience of Stay: BELOW AVERAGE (large room for Frontline Service Staff to improve its service to be more organized delivery of items inclusive in the booking & check-in Processes not to miss out), 6. Overall: AVERAGE (Frontline Service Staff, Ms. XIA & Room Service Manager have recognized their shortcomings & promised to make remedial action but still failed to deliver by the reason of too busy as mentioned by the Frontline Service Team)"

"I rang the hotel the day before to ask for directions and they were very helpful with giving advice about getting discounted the entrance ticket for us as the hotel is located within the scenic area and the ticket is also valid for the 2 days we were there for. They also added me to a WeChat group with all their staff and everyone was extremely helpful in giving advice and recommendations. One thing was that the bathroom drain is a bit small and when I was washing my hair in the shower it got blocked by the hair (I have long hair that sheds a bit) and there was a bit of mini-flood happening in the shower, though that's more the design of the shower. Bonus: cats and bunny at the reception! Would definitely stay again if I'm visiting!"

"預訂的時候看着圖片感覺這個酒店還不錯，就訂了一個晚上。原本想着到了看看，如果實際不行再換！沒想到，到了後，首先酒店門頭很大氣，前台的小美女Stella服務態度很好👍主動給我升級了湖景房。辦理好入住後，還熱情的帶我到房間所在樓棟（因為酒店比較大，是四合院的建築，不好找）。服務態度確實不錯👍房間也很好，獨立的衣帽間、衞生間、洗漱間，淋浴和浴缸都有，主要窗外面就是古鎮，在房間裏面就能看到古鎮風光，確實很贊😎"

"Very nice hotel... well located, inside the walls of the histroic water town, but in a quiet part, away from the hustle of the crowded streets. Room was clean and easily large enough.. with good lighting and private toilet/shower, and daily room service. The buffet breakfast, included in the room price was very good. I speak no mandarin; so I had to communicate with the reception/front desk staff using translate on phones. The front desk staff were wonderful... cheerful, helpful. They went to great lenghts to explain to me how to obtain and buis ticket to Shanghai, where to catch the bus and so on... also the same staff were extremely helpful with day to day questions. The only strange or negative thing is that when shown the room, it looks wonderful as it includes a small private verandah with table and chair. However, there is a fixed wire screen preventing the inhabitant from accessing the room's verandah... kind of strange and certainly a negative"

"Zeer tevreden met de verblijfservaring, de omgeving is goed. De receptie Suki is goed, het beheer van de snelle verblijf, de nodige micro-mailcontact is zeer tijdig en zeer intieme om de nodige dingen vooraf in de kamer te sturen. De kamer is volledig, de slaapkamer is zeer comfortabel, de kamer is groot, de lichte, heldere, de faciliteiten zijn klaar, helpen ook de vrije uitstel van de kamer uit te stellen, er is een gratis parkeerplaats, het reizen is ook zeer handig, zeer goed!"

"Love Xitang because of this hotel. The balcony is directly beside the river with breathtaking views. The hotel has free hanfu costumes experience and we just paid a little extra for makeup and photographers to follow us around in the village. Love this hotel"

"I booked the Five Lakes Riverside Balcony Room with Main Channel View and Bathroom at Regalia Riverside for Dec 30 and 31, 2025. The room looks exactly as it does in the photos. The balcony has plug ins, teapot, teacups and tea prepared for you. Across the balcony, you can see the famous bridge and the boat station. You can also see up and down the channel. Room size is good for 2 persons. In the room is a heater/AC which worked perfectly and Ms. Sun also kindly turned on the heater since she knew my arrival time. The room has a kettle but no cups, coffee. Luckily I had brought my own. Also, know that the hotel does not provide breakfast - not a problem for me but for those we eat breakfast, just step outside. Location is perfect, it's in the heart of ancient town so easy to walk everywhere. Outside your door is snack street and at the end of the street is a ”food court”. Despite it's central location and opposite of the boat station, the noise was manageable. When I closed the balcony doors, I didn't hear anything (maybe too cold for people to loiter around?). Everyone was very nice and kind. Ms. Sun went out of her way to help me with my return bus ticket to Hangzhou, giving me directions on how to arrive at the hotel/meeting point where she waited for me, and her colleague even walked and waited for my car when I departed for Hangzhou. Going from Hangzhou to Xitang was an adventure as I read many different versions and my hotel told me another in my research. All in all, i highly recommend Regalia and Xitang! Thank you to Ms Sun and everyone for making my 2026 new year experience so memorable!"
