We went in mid June, rainy season so it was low season. For the price that we paid for the 2 bedroom villa, which included breakfast (at another hotel) entry to ocean park, The Five Country Hot Spring City, and personal shuttle bus service within the island. I think it was well worth it. Service was prompt and courteous, although communication was all through WeChat and in Chinese. Convenient but knowing sone Chinese would be better to utilize services . We stayed in the Japanese style villa, and it was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We especially loved having our own dry and steam sauna, and our own personal outdoor hot spring bath! Real hot spring mineral water! I recommend this place especially for people who love hot spring baths and want to avoid busy touristy hotels. Cleanliness: overall quite clean. Location: walking distance to ocean park and hot spring city, so quite convenient. 5-10 minutes shuttle ride to most places within the island. Service: knowing someone is available 24 hours was nice. They were eager to help with whatever we needed. The main concierge during the day was more friendly, competent and experienced. Amenities: everything we needed was provided. There was a Dyson hair dryer, fridge etc. If you are picky about your shampoo soaps etc, you may want to bring your own. But they do provide them.

Had a wonderful stay here at Forest Inn, Hainan University! My cousin is starting university nearby and we came to drop her off. Since we had stayed in the downtown before, we wanted to find a place close to campus to experience. This hotel is the best option! It’s right within the campus entrance and easy to navigate to. The front desk concierge’s were very friendly and kind - two of them even took us around on the tour bus to familiarize us with the campus and surrounding area. They even went out of their way and offered to help us unload luggage. Since there was no parking space on move-in day, having the option to drop off saved us a lot of hassle. In addition to campus, the hotel is also located close to a botanical garden, about 15 minutes to the downtown area, and close to shops, stores, etc. Some suggestions: - Wish the pool was accessible as advertised on Trip but it’s now only a kiddie pool. - For longer stays, room amenities should be replenished daily based on number of guests. - I received a rather expensive delivery during my stay and asked the courier to leave it with the front desk as I was out during that time. There was someone at the front desk with a poor attitude who denied that any deliveries arrived and suggested it had been delivered to another location. Luckily, another staff member helped me check and found my delivery. I suggest besides giving guests misleading information, to ensure it’s accurate first.

The place is located in a great area and the apartment is beautiful, however the building is just for sleeping it has no facilities but the biggest problems were the odors in the apartment. The apartment in general was clean but the sink in the bathroom had a horrible smell and the fridge which was disconnected and it also had a bad smell. The lady who received us was very kind and helpful.

Hotel apartment is at Ocean Flower Island 2 and is spacious and clean. All the rooms are seaview and you can watch sunrise from the living hall balcony. Comfortable stay with free bus service every hourly next to the apartment to reach Island 1. You can also hire buggy to go around the Island. Many shops like eatery, bread, cake, grocery and supermarket are nearby. A good location.

The stay at the Danzhou Seaview Baili Hotel was very pleasant. The check in was convenient and all staff very friendly. The room had a quite modern appearance , was decently equipped and was quite big. Sadly we didnt get a sea/ port sided room, otherwise the view would probably have also been great. The roomservice came every day between 8 and 9 for cleaning and reequipping the room. My only wish would be that when they knock the door twice, they actually wait a little longer for a response. They always entered very quickly and didnt give me enough time to even reach the door and open. The breakfast selection is probably the only thing that was a little disappointing. Not that many choices and only some minor changes every day. Especially the limited fruit selection is a bit sad, given the availability on Hainan. But for the pricepoint of the hotel I dont want to complain much. The food was alright and will definitely get you full. Around the hotel are many shops, restaurants and streetvendors that provide decent choices for dinner. Now to the big plus point, the free of charge clothes washing service (basic washing and drying). Quick and efficient, and you always have fresh clothes given the hot climate. Lastly the hotel also offers a free afternoon tea and snack service at the top floor. Again the choices are very limited, but it is still a nice thing to have. Thanks for the stay.

Отель отличный. Но на этих остравах делать нечего, работает все на половину. Напоминает начало исчезновение людей ”что было бы если люди бы исчезли... Год спустя” на дату 20.10.25 (на главном острове) на жилых остравах все норм, рынки магазины... сама комната не затертая, все новое, что то даже в плёнке ещё. Видимо сказывается то что пол острова развлечений не работает. А так удивительно видеть огромные постройки а людей нет. Кто бы сказал это про Китай не поверил бы. Итого отель зачёт, на острове достаточно одного дня ну мах два дня, все нечего делать. P. S. Не берите в центре там дорого а на жилых частях дешевле.

Ik had deze plek graag een betere rating gegeven, omdat de hulp snel was wanneer ik het nodig had en het appartement was echt mooi ingericht. Het was echter niet schoon, de wasmachine was niet in goede staat, de koelkast smelte echt slecht aan het begin, en de douchehoofd was gebroken (ze vervangden de douchehoofd echter). Ik kreeg ook geen sleutelkaart of code om de hoofdingang in het gebouw te openen en de beveiligingspersoon die verantwoordelijk is voor het laten van de sleutel-minder gasten in meestal te lang om de deur te openen. Eens moest ik 6 keer bellen voordat de deur werd geopend. Hainan is een geweldige plek en ik zou zeker weer daar gaan... maar eerlijk gezegd, ik zou waarschijnlijk niet meer in deze appartement blijven... ik realiseerde me ook niet dat het meer was als een Airbnb situatie dan een hotel. Ik heb pas na het boeken van het appartement ontdekt dat ik een deposito moet betalen en alleen met iemand via WeChat kan communiceren omdat er geen front desk is.
