"Ik heb drie dagen met mijn man gehad van 19 tot 21 september. We hebben een mooi weer en een prachtige zee gevonden. Het hotel is in een strategische positie, het is mijns inziens uitzonderlijk in elk opzicht, het vriendelijk en oppassend personeel, de schoonheid van de kamer met een prachtig uitzicht. Ik moet zeggen dat het hotel heeft veel katten in de structuur die ons niets bevalt. De boom is voorzien van een zwembad met zout water met een stroop op de zee zou ik mooi zeggen. We waren op boot met de skipper van de structuur genaamd Alberto, die ons de mooiste plaatsen van de witte glazen plaats liet zien waar het zwavelwater, de stro, de dak en het paradijs op de grond Basiluzo, Het hele in een comfortabele boot en cirerij op spaghetti taart aan boord, hebben we de tour met Alberto verlengd met een bezoek aan de skier van Stromboli. De vulkaan was in een volledige uitbraak en eten op de boot, het zien van de uitbraken en het horen van de geluiden van de uitbraak was echt magisch. Ik wil afsluiten met de opmerking dat we volgend jaar terug zullen komen naar het plein dat voor mij het beste hotel in Panarea is en zeker met Alberto de beste skipper die ik ooit heb ontmoet."

"This was my first visit to Panerea. It had been talked up so much I was hoping for an experience that would blow me away. First I want to say the view from our terrace and the proximity to the dock was fantastic. Unfortunately that did not make up for the areas where it was lacking. The bed, sheets and pillows were the worst I have ever slept on. The mattress was like a rock as were the pillows and the sheets were scratchy and uncomfortable. I believe if the owner or anyone in management slept on these one night they would replace them in every room as the consensus amongst guests was they were extremely uncomfortable. Bathroom had mold on the ceiling and the patio needed a good cleaning. The pool had trash thrown in it. Breakfast was just OK. You had to ask at least three times to get coffee and then it was just warm. There were stairs with no lighting forcing us to use our phone flashlights. I will say the staff at the front desk was very pleasant. However a good nights sleeps makes or breaks a place with me. I will not be returning"

"De Kyma is een magische plek, nieuwe kamers in elk bijzonder, we waren in de eerste verdieping kamers en van het terras keek we naar Stromboli en Basiluzzo. Ontbijt is geweldig en met gezonde en kwaliteit producten. De twee broers eigenaars van de faciliteit zijn van een ontwapende vriendelijkheid. Super super aanbevolen!!"

"Outstanding. Our group of 13 friends was in a rush, given a quick stop at Panerea during our boat tour. The staff helped us select dishes for a family-style meal, that was a highlight of our trip. Don’t miss the Caponata with Spada, gnocchi with clams and pistacchio (really), and the pane canzoto (spelling?), with pistacchio. Most importantly don’t miss the dessert cookies, with Marzipan. Great service and great food, with a mind blowing view of the sea. When we return to the Aeolian Islands we will spend a few days at their hotel."

"Last visited B&B da Luca in 2018 and so it was time for a return trip (with my parents also this time). It is a perfect boutique hotel in Panarea. The hotel is beautiful and they are constantly making improvements. It has a soho house style charm, extremely well thought out terraces, gardens and bedrooms/bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious and served by the very hospitable Angela (Luca’s mum). She made us feel welcome like family, and it felt like I was going to my Nonna’s house (albeit a very luxury stay with Nonna). Angela is very friendly and was happy to share her knowledge about the island and its history which is fascinating. Luca was a great organiser, he remembered us from 7 years before and was helpful in organising boat trips for us so everything was booked before we arrived. The boat trip he booked with Francesco was amazing, a truly luxurious boat and we all felt like celebrities for the day. We will be back again and would recommend this gem of a place to all our friends."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is super central, convenient for exploring Panarea on foot and easily reaching the main points of interest. But the real added value was Loredana, the receptionist: extremely kind, helpful, and always smiling from the first to the last minute of our stay. She made us feel welcome right away, providing helpful advice and assistance with great professionalism and warmth. A precious presence that truly makes the difference!
