Hotels in Odate

"We stayed two nights. It was a great experience. Room itself is good, bed is comfortable. Got onsen and free half portion of ramen and rice after 7:30pm, which is a bonus. Ramen is delicious. However, service for a part-time staff (a girl) was bad! This is the first time we experienced such bad service in Japan. First, her greeting was mean and rude, with no smile on her face and kind of ignoring the customer. Second, after we got the room key and get ready to take the elevator, we didn't know the way. She just kept ignoring us which a normal staff would show you the way to the elevator right after finished check-in. Lastly, after we entered into the room, we found out that the toilet seat was loosen. So we went down to the lobby to tell her about these. She was so unhelpful that she did not even want to come up to our room to see what happen, but just tild us to use the toilet in the lobby instead! At the end, luckily there was another senior full time staff just on duty, we told him about this, and he immediately went up to our room to see what happen. Will give this senior staff a 5 star. So other than that part-time staff (girl), all were pretty good."

"Ik had een kamer in Japanse stijl geboekt, maar bij het inchecken bleek er geen badkamer te zijn, wat nogal onhandig was. Wie een kamer in Japanse stijl boekt, moet hier rekening mee houden. Ook de geluidsisolatie leek matig; je moest heel stil zijn en langzaam de kamer in en uit lopen, wat een beetje onveilig aanvoelde. Ik verbleef op de t****e verdieping en de rookruimte was buiten. De kamer was echter ruim en de airconditioning werkte prima. Toen ik 's avonds bij het hotel aankwam, waren er niet veel winkels in de buurt open, maar het hotel gaf me een gratis voucher voor curryrijst of rundvleesrijst, wat mijn avondetenprobleem oploste. Ik vond de föhn in het openbare bad erg prettig."

"This very homestay style accommodation started some 48 years ago by the grandma. Two of her daugthers, Kaori and Katura now runs this cosy place with about 10 rooms. The stars are the two Akita inu, Haru-chan (father), 7 years old. And his daughter, Hana-chan (6 years old). it will take some time to warm up with them, similar to Shiba inu. We got to spend sometime with both of them during our stay, including giving them some treats, watched Haru-chan drinks ice cream with ice (it was a hot day). Chatted with Kaori and grandma to find out more about them. We had dinner and breakfast which was home cooked style. It has been a pleasant stay. Very friendly and down to earth family. This is highly recommended if you are into Akita Inu and enjoy homestay."

"Spacious room and bathroom, but a little old and dusty. Quite a distance from Odate station so will need to catch a bus or prepare for a 20-30 min walk. Helpful staff who guided us where to catch buses."

"Hotel is pretty far away from Odate Station about 30 mins by foot. There are buses from the Station to the Hotel if you do not want to walk. Overall the price is reasonable and it is a decent hotel to stay in Odate."

"ねぶた祭りを見るため半年以上前に予約しました。 夜日付変わる前くらいに到着し、真っ暗で何も見えなかったですが、遠くからでもルートインのライトが照らされていて場所は分かりやすかったです。 部屋は綺麗で、大浴場も深夜2時までやっていてアメニティも一通り揃っているのがとても良いです！ 朝食も無料なのがありがたいです♪ 自動販売機もお酒や食べ物のもあるので館内を出ずに済みます。 女性用大浴場には洗濯機と乾燥機が1つずつあり、洗濯200円乾燥100円でできます。男女共有の方にも洗濯機と乾燥機が4つずつくらいありましたが、故障中でした。 部屋にティッシュないですが、大浴場にはあります。 大浴場のアメニティは、N&COのクレンジング、化粧水、乳液&FIESTAの洗顔(洗顔&手洗いフォーム)です。 部屋には洗顔化粧水乳液の1回使い切り分があり、クレンジングも受付で言えば貰えます。"

"早餐豐富 職員有禮的 下一次旅遊時會再次選擇 一樓有提供免費咖啡機。 電梯只有一台，所以上下樓常需要等待，房間插座只有兩個，房門非電子鎖，進出門都要記得手動鎖門。"

"Hotelkamer is schoon en comfortabel. Ze geven zelfs een gratis ingang naar de kruising naast de deur. Personeel zijn vriendelijk en welkom. Alleen tekort is het gelegen naast een spoorwegovergang en geluidsbewijs is niet perfect. Dus wees klaar om om 2 uur 's morgens wakker te zijn wegens treinkruising."
