"The Mizpa Hotel is full of retro atmosphere, beautifully decorated chandeliers, retro-style furniture, and furnishings related to mining history, which presents a strong sense of history and cultural charm. The hotel also displays photos and autographs of the show's former guests, including our more familiar Sharon Stone and Julie Andrews, the heroine of "The Sound of Music". This night, I don't know if it is the fatigue of the journey, or the hotel bed is particularly comfortable, I sleep very well."

"Check-in was laborious, we waited 10 minutes for the previous couple to check in. The receptionist ran through her procedure tersely, with no empathy, no smile; we've rarely seen anything like that. We were there for two nights and received the same attitude from the person at breakfast. The person on duty leaned on the console. She didn't speak to us either morning; it really seemed like the job bothered her or didn't suit her. The kitchen staff came to get coffee and other items from the dining room and left without saying a word. Across from me, I had the kitchen door open, and I could watch the staff coming and going during my breakfast. In short, we've had better breakfasts. Otherwise, the room was clean, the air conditioning was incredibly noisy; we had to turn it off both nights, and the TV didn't work. Not really a good experience for us."

"We hebben oorspronkelijk geboekt op de Belvada, maar ze hadden overboekt, dus we werden naar de Mizpah gestuurd voor een kamer. Ze zijn onder dezelfde eigendom. De Belvada leek meer familievriendelijk met de Mizpah met een vrij levendige bar en casino op de hoofdvloer, maar het was goed voor ons een nacht verblijf. We waren op de derde verdieping, rustig en gezellig in een junior suite. Beide hotels lijken goed onderhouden, zeker vol charme, verachting en lasten van vintage touches (de vintage touches kunnen als oud en een beetje vervelend als het langer blijven, maar het was geweldig voor een nacht). Over het algemeen zeer blij met het bezoek, ik kan me niet voorstellen dat mensen naar Tonopah gaan zonder een tragere snelheid te verwachten, dus met dat in gedachten - genieten van de trage vertraging en de historische details!"
