This hotel used to be amazing, now it is a hovel for obvious reasons. It is filthy, stinks and has cast an unwanted shadow over the city of Nottingham. Dragging the City into the third world, I would rather sleep in a bus shelter than go anywhere near this blight ever again.

Hotel is fully booked. Part of the Britannia Hotels group housing asylum seekers and refugees. All rooms booked by the Home Office for asylum seekers. This is why your rooms have been cancelled. Filthy, dirty hotel.

As with a few recent reviews I also had booked this hotel months ago and received a notification for cancelling our rooms with little notice to book another hotel. This would usually be okay but I'm sure the hotel is well aware that it is the Test Match weekend and availability for hotels at this late notice is virtually impossible. You can't just decide to cancel everyones room on one of the busiest weekends in the city for literally years. The customer service has been terrible, little apology and just a message saying our rooms have been cancelled. I'm sure the hotel have just taken the opportunity to jack up the prices for a private booking because of the test match. I like many others will not be staying at this hotel ever.

I booked 2 rooms through *********** in January 2021 for 6th August to visit Trent Bridge for the cricket. 4 weeks before due date I was informed that the rooms were no longer available due to a private booking. No further explanation given. I’ve now got to try & find another hotel at short notice. Of course……..everywhere now is either fully booked or charging ridiculous prices. I for one shall not be staying at a Britannia Hotel if this is how they treat their customers. I suggest you shouldn’t either. Looking through some other ratings, & I see it has happened to someone else.

I had a room booked for over 7 months, just for the Hotel to cancel it at the last minute as they are holding a party and have given my room to someone else. Shocking service that a hotel can just decide to cancel
