"The hotel is just a short walk from the beach. We had a problem with a room on the third floor, and after mentioning it at reception, they had already assigned us a better room on the first floor the following night at the same price and without the previous issue. Excellent service in that regard. The breakfast buffet was decent for the off-season; perhaps we would have liked something hotter, like eggs and/or bacon, but it was more than enough. The rooms were clean with plenty of pillows and cushions to choose from, and the bathrooms were spacious. The staff was friendly. We didn't have a chance to try the restaurant, but it looked good."

"Het restaurant eist een minimum aan consumptie, je kunt niet alleen een bord kiezen. Eerst ze zeggen dat je een brief kiest en als ze niet goed vinden wat je vraagt, vragen ze je om uit het terras te komen of naar de bar. Natuurlijk komen we niet terug omdat klanten niet altijd dezelfde honger hebben."

"Disappointing experience for pilgrims We stopped here for lunch today because the restaurant was advertised as being pilgrim-friendly, with special pilgrim menus. Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to expectations. We ordered 2 burgers and 4 beers, costing €33. The burgers were disappointing: there was no sauce, no roasted tomatoes as advertised, and the buns were extremely thick and mostly stale. No salad or chips were included as an accompaniment. The service also felt rushed. The waitress stood waiting while we made our order, which made us feel uncomfortable, and later, after asking if we wanted dessert or coffee, she returned with the card machine before we had decided. For a restaurant promoting itself to pilgrims, we expected a warmer welcome and better value. Sadly, this was not the experience we had."
