The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, catering to both Chinese and Western tastes. Brisa and Serena were excellent hosts and made our check-in seamless. We're also very grateful to Lumi and Nancy for their warm and thoughtful assistance when we accidentally locked ourselves out on the balcony while admiring the view. If we visit again, we'd definitely choose this hotel. The underground parking was also very convenient. It would be even better if breakfast was included when an extra bed is requested."

"The price and service are inversely proportional. It would be more fitting to rename this place the 'Sloth Hotel'. I'd give 0.5 points for the service to the shuttle driver, who was polite. I booked a room for my birthday and informed them in advance, hoping for a simple decoration. Upon arrival, I was told they hadn't received any such request. Kudos to Trip.com for their swift handling; they helped us switch rooms. The room change itself took an hour. Every time we wanted to go somewhere, it was an endless wait of 20+ minutes. What they call a 'private hot spring' is just a bathtub. Using the hotel's public hot spring costs an additional 188 per person. The dining experience is nowhere near what you'd expect from a five-star hotel; even a rural guesthouse serves better food. Paying 3000+ for a hotel with such service is truly disappointing."

"I have to give a huge shout-out to Ninghai Holiday Resort! This hotel just opened on April 30th this year, so the facilities are brand new, and the experience was fantastic. The entire hotel is designed with standalone villas, offering great privacy and really giving you that vacation vibe. The environment is simply gorgeous; the landscaping is meticulously done, and the back garden is beautiful – perfect for a stroll or taking photos. The room interiors were equally satisfying: spacious, clean, and stylishly designed. A special mention goes to Coco at the front desk and Alice from the F&B department. Their service was incredibly thoughtful and warm, making us feel completely comfortable from check-in to inquiries and every meal. They truly enhanced our stay. With the added bonus of the hot springs, this stay was truly perfect. New hotel, great environment, and excellent service – I highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax in Ninghai; you won't be disappointed!"

"The hotel is located at the foot of Lianghuang Mountain, a five-minute walk from the entrance to the Lianghuang Mountain Scenic Area. Dining reservations are required one day in advance, and the menu features local farmhouse stir-fries. The front desk staff was very helpful, helping us request a room upgrade with our supervisor. They explained the hotel's location, noting that Lianghuang Mountain marked the beginning of Xu Xiake's travels. The hotel, reminiscent of Hui-style architecture, features every plant and tree meticulously cultivated by the owner. There's even a small vegetable garden behind the campsite. The hotel's setting evokes Tao Yuanming's "Peach Blossom Spring." Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, the tranquility is so tranquil that you can listen to the summer chirping of insects and birds. It's a truly magical holiday destination."

In order to avoid the June 1st peak, we set off from Shanghai in the middle of the week and found a niche tourist destination in Ninghai County, Ningbo City. This is the former residence of Xu Xiake. As a travel enthusiast, of course we must check in! Today I would like to highlight the hotel we stayed in, Ninghai Xia Ke Ju Hotel (Xu Xiake Avenue Branch). Just because of the name, it is worth a visit! 🏠The room is really big, and it’s a mountain view room! Standing in front of the window, you can have a panoramic view of the green mountains and windmills in the distance. The scenery is so beautiful😍. There is actually a large bathtub in the room. Taking a bath is not very comfortable🛀. 📖There is also a small study room indoors, which contains some books related to Xu Xiake. It is indeed the hometown of Xu Xiake, and the cultural atmosphere is super strong. 🎁The souvenirs given by the hotel are very rich, especially the paper dragon. My children loved it so much that they played with it for a long time. 🏛The lobby of the hotel is very large, and there is also the Xiake Book Bar, which is antique and perfect for taking photos in Hanfu. Our family all put on Hanfu and took many beautiful photos here. 🌃The hotel also has a rooftop. Standing on it, you can see Yangxi outside the hotel. The scenery is picturesque and it is also a good place to take pictures. 🥘The hotel also provided midnight snacks in the evening, which was really considerate. 🍳The breakfast on the second day was especially good. There were many local snacks, such as Ninghai wheat coke tube, braised bamboo shoots, wild rice, small chaos, etc., which tasted great 😋. "Een gezin van vier is op reis. De kamer bevindt zich in een boshut op de berg. De kinderen vinden het erg leuk. Het duurt maar tien minuten om naar boven te klimmen. Als er veel dingen zijn, kan het vermoeiend zijn. Er ligt een riviertje ernaast waar je direct in het water kunt spelen, en er is een zwembad in de kamer waar je direct kunt genieten van de warmwaterbronnen. Het is onvermijdelijk dat er in de zomer meer insecten zullen zijn. De kamer is een beetje klein maar redelijk netjes. De geluidsisolatie is niet bijzonder goed, maar over het algemeen ben ik tevreden. Het is geschikt voor een familievakantie, als het wat koeler weer is, neem ik de ouderen er weer heen."
