"We stayed here over Christmas, and the hotel's public areas were beautifully decorated for the holidays – the festive atmosphere was just perfect! Everything from the overall environment, the room decor and layout, and the spaciousness, to the consistently attentive service, was absolutely flawless. The only minor drawback is that for a star-rated hotel, you have to go to the front desk every time to get toiletries. Moreover, the toiletries provided are quite basic, which is a stark contrast to the convenient experience offered by most hotels nowadays. While there was an environmental initiative years ago, this practice seems to have faded out, and it definitely lowers the guest experience. I hope the hotel can improve on this."

"I have to give a huge shout-out to Ninghai Holiday Resort! This hotel just opened on April 30th this year, so the facilities are brand new, and the experience was fantastic. The entire hotel is designed with standalone villas, offering great privacy and really giving you that vacation vibe. The environment is simply gorgeous; the landscaping is meticulously done, and the back garden is beautiful – perfect for a stroll or taking photos. The room interiors were equally satisfying: spacious, clean, and stylishly designed. A special mention goes to Coco at the front desk and Alice from the F&B department. Their service was incredibly thoughtful and warm, making us feel completely comfortable from check-in to inquiries and every meal. They truly enhanced our stay. With the added bonus of the hot springs, this stay was truly perfect. New hotel, great environment, and excellent service – I highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax in Ninghai; you won't be disappointed!"

"Facilities: First-class. The one-bedroom suite has an extra bed that can be added on the tatami mats. It was very spacious for our group of four. There was underfloor heating, so we slept very comfortably at night; the kids even wanted to sleep on the floor. The outdoor soaking tub was quite clean, but leaves or insects would appear every 5 minutes. Those who mind this should choose carefully, but I didn't mind and was very satisfied. The soaking tub can be filled and drained freely, with no limit on the number of times. Hygiene: I didn't have to use alcohol wipes to scrub it, which proves its cleanliness is truly excellent. For such a large room, not counting the outdoor area, the indoor area was spotless—truly impressive (even the air purifier didn't accumulate dust). Environment: Beautiful mountains, clear water, and fresh air. Away from the city hustle and bustle, small bamboo partitions create a simple, private corner—just the right distance to hear noise but not see people. Service: The staff were all young and energetic, enthusiastic and attentive. Xiaoyu and Coco were very considerate, helping with arrangements and providing guidance. They communicated promptly with any questions and followed up on everything—very good. The bedtime sweet soup was delicious, and the afternoon tea set was also nice. The minibar drinks were all free and plentiful, showing great generosity. In short: expensive, but worth the price."

The hotel is located in the mountains, requiring a drive along a winding mountain road to reach it; it's situated in a valley with no other amenities nearby. If you don't eat at the hotel, you need to drive 5 kilometers downhill to reach the town for meals. The balcony features a hot spring pool and is fitted with bamboo blackout curtains, providing good privacy."

As a travel enthusiast, of course we must check in! Today I would like to highlight the hotel we stayed in, Ninghai Xia Ke Ju Hotel (Xu Xiake Avenue Branch). Just because of the name, it is worth a visit! 🏠The room is really big, and it’s a mountain view room! Standing in front of the window, you can have a panoramic view of the green mountains and windmills in the distance. The scenery is so beautiful😍. There is actually a large bathtub in the room. Taking a bath is not very comfortable🛀. 📖There is also a small study room indoors, which contains some books related to Xu Xiake. It is indeed the hometown of Xu Xiake, and the cultural atmosphere is super strong. 🎁The souvenirs given by the hotel are very rich, especially the paper dragon. My children loved it so much that they played with it for a long time. 🏛The lobby of the hotel is very large, and there is also the Xiake Book Bar, which is antique and perfect for taking photos in Hanfu. Our family all put on Hanfu and took many beautiful photos here. 🌃The hotel also has a rooftop. Standing on it, you can see Yangxi outside the hotel. The scenery is picturesque and it is also a good place to take pictures. 🥘The hotel also provided midnight snacks in the evening, which was really considerate. 🍳The breakfast on the second day was especially good. There were many local snacks, such as Ninghai wheat coke tube, braised bamboo shoots, wild rice, small chaos, etc., which tasted great 😋. "Een gezin van vier is op reis. De kamer bevindt zich in een boshut op de berg. De kinderen vinden het erg leuk. Het duurt maar tien minuten om naar boven te klimmen. Als er veel dingen zijn, kan het vermoeiend zijn. Er ligt een riviertje ernaast waar je direct in het water kunt spelen, en er is een zwembad in de kamer waar je direct kunt genieten van de warmwaterbronnen. Het is onvermijdelijk dat er in de zomer meer insecten zullen zijn. De kamer is een beetje klein maar redelijk netjes. De geluidsisolatie is niet bijzonder goed, maar over het algemeen ben ik tevreden. Het is geschikt voor een familievakantie, als het wat koeler weer is, neem ik de ouderen er weer heen."
