"My experience at this inn was great. My daughter Erica and I stayed here overnight August 18-19. First off, we didn’t drive in but there is a free shuttle bus downtown that takes you right to the corner, a few feet away from the inn. Now for the inn itself. It was lovely. We had one of the rooms upstairs with a private bathroom. As soon as you walk into the room you see that it looks like it belongs on an island. It’s done up in a seaside motif with cool and calming tones of blue and white with seashells and the like. Next, but most important, was the cleanliness. You could feel and see the clean. I didn’t even feel a desire to whip out my Lysol wipes and sanitizer. The hosts were so thoughtful. They had complimentary ice cold orange juice in the refrigerator for us along with different kinds of snacks and good coffee. Also complimentary. In the hall there is a microwave and even more snacks. At the front entrance there are some other snacks and drinks that you can pay for at a small price using the honesty system. And yet still there is a free bowl of fruit there also. I’ve arrived at hotels starving and unable to get food immediately. That was not a problem here. They also provided toothbrushes, toothpaste and mouthwash. The good stuff. They also had a variety of streaming services and regular tv. They thought of everything. I slept so good here. If I go back to Nantucket this is where I’ll be staying. I highly recommend this place. FYI-I think the shuttle bus is not going to be free starting in 2026. But even if you have to pay it’s a convenient option if you don’t want to drive. There are shuttles that I believe take you to just about anywhere you want to go on the island."

"We lezen een eerdere beoordeling die zei dat Wauwinet was als het thuis van een rijke vriend. Dit is helemaal juist. Mijn man en ik hebben hier een paar dagen met een ander paar, en de hele ervaring was ontspannen en leuk. De kamer en de grond zijn prachtig, de locatie van het dorp is ver weg van de bust, en het personeel is zorgvuldig en vriendelijk. De sfeer is onderbeschreven en toevallig elegant, er is geen oostentatie te vinden. De kamer was helder met natuurlijk licht en goed ingericht, met een bedenkelijke New England decor. Mijn enige kleine klacht was dat de badkamer klein was in vergelijking met de grootte van de kamer, hoewel dit iets in deze stijl van het hotel was te verwachten. Het eten was uitstekend, en er waren nog meer zoet en welkom touches zoals hete appelcider om middernacht. haven met kaas in de latemiddag, en complimentaire koffie, thee en pasta in de vroege ochtend. Ik moet de manager, die elke dag bij de gasten was en die zeer vriendelijk en handig was, bijzonder complimenten geven. Dit jaar is een beetje moeilijk op Nantucket (zoals we op deze reis ontdekten), met veel winkels en restaurants al gesloten voor het seizoen... hoewel de week die we bij de Wauwinet verbleven, het laatste was, De heer Delors (S). - (FR) Mijnheer de Voorzitter, ik wil de heer Delors danken voor zijn verslag. Het was prachtig om op het eiland te zijn met koele valweer en geen grote mensen! We adviseren het, net als we zeer adviseren deze accommodaties!"

"Vriendelijke, zorgvuldige personeel in een gemakkelijk te wandelen afstand tot het centrum. Ook wandelbaar naar Beaches. (20 min.) Kamers zijn sinds mijn laatste verblijf met nieuwe AC en zelfs een kleine koelkast bijgewerkt. In mijn eigen kamer was de badkamer beneden de hal, maar sommige kamers hebben een bad gekoppeld. Wees voorzichtig om duidelijk te zijn wat u wilt in verhouding tot het prijspunt. Er wordt een goed continental ontbijt geleverd. Verse gebakte cookies worden aan het eind van de dag op de Inns-desk aangeboden."

"The Centerboard is a perfect place and has a wealth of history and heritage.  The room was in perfect condition.  The king bed was firm but also comfy and allowed me to sleep comfortably.  The Porch was an excellent place to sit and plan our walks to the downtown area.  Only 8-10 minutes away  Gary & Zita"
