We opted not to stay overnight because the bathroom did not offer any privacy at all. We were advised the glass was going to be frosted soon and they offered to throw a sheet over the glass - but to us, the toilet should be in a completely separate room from the bedroom and the shower - separated by a solid wall and door, not glass panels. Beautiful architecture, but not enough privacy for us to stay. Also the air conditioning unit was complicated to operate and didn’t seem to make the room cool enough - suggest including operating instructions in the room, a cheat sheet of some sort. The WiFi also was spotty - worked on my phone but not on my laptop, and the tv wasn’t working yet. Suggest the option to connect to internet (for Netflix) as well as satellite tv.

My family with its two preschool boys visits Kenya every six months. We’ve stayed all over the country with different kinds of accommodations and this is by far the best hotel for our family. The hotel is the cleanest in Kenya and has excellent customer service. They accommodated our out of town guests in the restaurant for tea. We stayed during the new year celebrations and watched firework shows from our window. The proximity to the mall allowed us to stock up on groceries and supplies, get our medical appointments, and other shopping through an easy walk to the mall and office towers. With a location on the outskirts of Nairobi, we easily took trips upcountry and family could visit us by avoiding the worst of Nairobi traffic. The area also has the cleanest air in Nairobi and is located in a beautiful tree lined part of the city. The mall has a small amusement park to assume children and dancing fountains similar to the ones in the UAE. It is also an easy walk from the only magic planet in Africa South of the Sahara. This place is perfect for families.
