"We were in the Plava Laguna / Stella Maris again at the end of August this year. Apart from the prices due to the euro, nothing has changed in terms of the things we criticized. Positive: The resort is really big and offers a lot, it's good if you've been there before and know most of it, because you have to ask about some things beforehand. Childcare, entertainment program, shopping, bike rental, Pummelzug, sports, climbing park....other shopping within driving distance, countless bars, restaurants, a small bakery, various beaches and moorings as well as several pools. The complex is nicely designed and walks from the resort to Umag are also possible. If you're not too fussy, you can have a great time here, but this year I want to go into things that you should pay attention to, hence this somewhat "fussy" explanation ;-) Most of the rooms are probably already "shabby" but we're not in a showroom here. Opinions differ here, it really depends on which rooms, apartments, bungalows or villas you rent. Some accommodations lack space, some are big enough. Some smell bad, some are problem-free - - some are less well equipped, some have everything, which does not mean that there is not a defective device. What do I have to watch out for?? The boiler (which is not always in the bathroom) has to be activated using a light switch for hot water. There is a sticker in the room with a QR code, which leads to a page on Plava Laguna, where you can set whether you need a cleaning service or towels, etc. Take a power distributor with you, there are not many sockets, no adapter necessary. If you have children or need a lot of equipment on the beach, take a handcart with you - it works wonders ;-) There are loungers and parasols at the main pool (by the children's pirate ship). Unfortunately, most of the parasols are a disgrace, some are defective, some do not fit with the posts or the height fixation is broken. They are dirty and often the ends of the fabric no longer stick to the umbrella (we recommend using clothespins to fix them in place). We also took our own parasol and two smaller ones with clips. Some of the loungers are partially broken or very dirty - it is a mystery to me why they are not replaced when there are countless better loungers that are stacked up and linked together - see photo ATTENTION: It is still a mystery where and for which guests the loungers and umbrellas are free, and at which points money is charged again, please inform us in good time. There is a "sports center" behind the buffet at the main pool (Luka Port harbor) where pedal boats, jet skis, etc. are offered, unfortunately you are not treated friendly there most of the time (we have heard many"

"Ik verbleef 6 nachten met mijn gezin in 2 Amfora-appartementen 4+2. Ik woon in Nederland en mijn zus in Kroatië. Voor mijn zus en haar familie waren de appartementen geweldig, voor Kroatische begrippen zijn ze goed, maar naar mijn mening zijn ze geen 4 sterren zoals geadverteerd (ik reis veel). Ze waren erg schoon bij aankomst, maar ze zien er vervallen uit. Houd er rekening mee dat de dagelijkse schoonmaak niet bij de prijs is inbegrepen, maar ze bieden wel dagelijks schone handdoeken, toiletpapier en lakens indien nodig. Alles ziet er goedkoop en oud uit, maar ik heb een zeer redelijke prijs betaald, dus uiteindelijk zou ik niet zeggen dat het te duur is, maar misschien is dat in het hoogseizoen anders. Er waren voldoende potten en pannen, bedden zijn goed, koelkast heeft geen vriesgedeelte. Er is een filterkoffiezetapparaat, waterkoker en een tosti-apparaat. Wifi is erg slecht (gelieve te verbeteren), mijn eigen mobiele verbinding was ook slecht als het bewolkt was, dus goede wifi is essentieel. Er is een tv, maar er waren aanvankelijk geen kanalen beschikbaar. Mijn zus heeft tv nodig, dus we hebben geklaagd, een vriendelijke reparateur beloofde het te repareren en de volgende dag hadden we alle kanalen - puno hvala! Resort is mooi en zeer goed onderhouden, appartementen zijn minder mooi maar als je meldt dat er iets niet goed werkt komen ze heel snel om het te repareren. Service is over het algemeen erg goed, het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, vanwege de service zou ik hier waarschijnlijk weer verblijven, hoewel ik niet zo blij was met het appartement."
