"My daughter and I stayed at MPH for three nights in early July. While the hotel has some lovely features, our overall experience was unfortunately impacted by several avoidable issues. We were initially given a room with a window rather than a balcony, which was due to an error by the booking agent—not the hotel. We requested a swap, but no balcony rooms were available. That said, the room was clean, modern, and the beds were comfortable. We also really enjoyed the breakfast—fresh and well-prepared. The hotel is located in a fairly remote area, and with the on-site restaurant closed during our stay, we had to drive out every evening to find dinner. We stayed in Room 1, which is right next to reception. Unfortunately, this made for a very disturbed first night due to loud noise and what sounded like shouting during the night. We requested a room change and were moved to a room on the first floor, which was thankfully much quieter. On the second evening, we returned to the hotel around 10pm hoping to have a drink at the bar, but were told it closed at 8pm and only soft drinks were available. That night, however, we did manage to get a good night’s sleep. On our final night, we came back to loud music and a full DJ party by the pool and garden area. This was quite a shock, especially as we needed to wake at 6am for a four-hour drive to the airport and from the car in the UK. I called reception at 11:30pm to ask when the music would end, as the bass was extremely loud and disturbing. I was told it was a birthday party. When I pointed out that it was a Monday and some guests might have work or early travel, the receptionist replied that it "shouldn't affect me since I was on vacation." That response was disappointing and dismissive. Overall, this is a nice hotel with a great pool, good breakfast, and mostly polite, helpful staff. But the lack of consistency and poor communication about noise disruptions seriously affected our stay. Had I known in advance about these issues—particularly the late-night events and limited dining/bar options—I would have chosen a different hotel."

"Een zeer kosteneffectief hotel met een eigen ondergrondse parkeerplaats (gratis). Voordat u incheckt, parkeert u uw auto bij de hoofdingang van het hotel (deze kan alleen tijdelijk worden geparkeerd). kaart en til de hendel op om de ondergrondse parkeergarage te betreden (het is allemaal bij die ingang), het hotel heeft een goed restaurant, een benzinestation ligt voor de deur (echt de deur), en een grote supermarkt ligt vlakbij. deur. De kamer is schoon, netjes en ruim. Direct bij de ingang staat een eenpersoonsbed, dus geschikt voor drie personen. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid, heerlijk en vers. Het zal de beste keuze zijn de volgende keer dat u naar Modica komt."

"I picked this hotel because of its reasonable price and its central location, about a 10-minute walk from the train station, and a 10-minute walk to the bus station in the opposite direction. I liked it. It's on a small street just off Piazza Matteotti. You have to climb a flight of stairs to get to the reception area (there's a light switch to your right inside the door). There was another flight of stairs up to my very comfortable and modern room. This hotel has a hipster ambiance, but don't let that deter you if you are, like me, an older independent traveler. (I had an amusing conversation with the owner when I asked him to point out the bus station on a map he provided, and he told me where a travel office was so I could book an excursion. I told him that I just wanted to take a regional bus to Ragusa, Scicli and other local towns, and I thought to myself, "Do I look that old?") He and the staffers were pleasant and very helpful, giving me advice about sights to see and places to eat. Don't expect to always see someone in the reception area. If you don't plan to check in during the regular time (between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m.), make sure you let them know. They may charge extra for that. The location is excellent, right off the main street in Modica and very walkable to many of its best attractions and also best places to eat, including the focacceria of Don Puglisi (which, unfortunately, was closed for vacation when I was there)."

Our room was very spacious (we booked the Viola suite). The breakfast was varied and authentic, served in a well-organized communal area. "8-daagse reis-trek in de prachtige regio Modica: we hebben altijd goed in Siciliën gevonden, maar dit verblijf was echt speciaal!! De structuur is in de vorm van "gespreid hotel" in een suggestief oude paleis in baroque stijl van Sicilië: we zijn trouwens in het gebied van de beroemde en mooie Noto! De twee dames die het beheren - echt heerlijke eigenaars! - zijn zeer vriendelijk en zeer gezellig, en alle binnenste hebben hun vingerafdruk: extreem schoonmaken, zeer brede en lichte gemeenschappelijke omgevingen, achteruitgaande atmosfeer van diepe maar zeer elegant Siciliën. Aangezien we een groep waren, konden we ook genieten van de avondrestauratie service: we hebben zeven diners geserveerd met echt heerlijke en verzorgde Modicaanse traditie, verschillende menu's voor elke avond, overvloedige dragen ... en zo veel vreugde! Tijdens de week hebben we bijna altijd gewandeld en dus ook ontbijt was overvloedig en zeer verscheiden, met vruchten beschikbaar. Insommige woorden .... een prachtige ervaring, van die die je aan het begin met het hele hart wilt blijven !!"

"A new hotel located on a Blue Flag beach providing all you need for a great break whether for a weekend or a week which is what we stayed for. Everything was spotless with an on-site spa, pool, and attached beach club with sun beds both in the grounds and on the beach itself. Without exception the service from the attentive staff was excellent with the star being Valentina. We had an issue with our hire car which I was having difficulty in resolving not least because of my lack of Italian but Valentina became involved and took it upon herself to sort the issue out which she did. This involved multiple phone calls and a deal of patience on her side but she was brilliant. She also ensured we were able to get back to Catania airport at the end of our stay as the hire car was not returned to us."

"We zijn voor de derde keer terug naar het Modica Beach Resort, en we vonden dezelfde suggestieve sfeer. Het faciliteit is gereed in alle ruimtes, modern ingericht met smaak, ruime en comfortabele kamers, uitstekende schoonheid. Gelegen in een strategische positie, om de meest suggestieve plaatsen van de Siciliërs Baroque te bezoeken. Van de vele krachtpunten, een applaus gaat naar het hele personeel, lachend, vriendelijk en bezorgd. Het restaurant is geweldig, Maitre Michele, coördineert in de kamer, een team van jongens en meisjes, zeer gebakken. Tafels gezorgd door Chef Mauritius, met kwaliteit grondstoffen. Een echte gezellige sfeer. Het strand is breed, met fine zand, de zee heeft kleuren die verminderen van cobaltblauw tot smeralde groen. En we komen naar het Veraclub personeel Van de assistenten Carol en Gaetano, altijd aanwezig met een glimlach voor elke behoefte, en bereid om zoveel mooie excursies aan te raden op prachtige plaatsen, met een Corrado, empathische en zeer voorbereid gids. Nic, de verantwoordelijke team, leidt met enthousiasme een team van jongens en meisjes, zonnebloed en nooit invaderende. Een dank aan iedereen, en in het bijzonder aan de directeur Bruna, die deze prachtige structuur met competentie en professionaliteit beheert. Ik zie je zo weer."

"Dit hotel was voor ons 2 geboekt door fietsreis organisatie. Het lag een stukje fietsen van het zo geprezen citta historica dus ook van restaurantjes. Ik keek uit op een nooit afgebouwd treinstation en spoorlijn / industrieterrein. En 's nachts het gebonk van auto's op de hoge autobrug waar het hotel onder lag. Niet naar toe gaan."

"Stacci Rural Resort is a modern, safe, and exceptionally clean find that served as a perfect base for our six night trip to Sicily. The accommodations were well proportioned and maintained to a high standard, though most guests only stayed for a night or two. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious daily breakfast, which featured a fantastic selection of fresh local produce. Friendly staff made us feel welcome, though it would be helpful if the bar’s daytime availability was more clearly communicated. For those staying longer, the addition of a kettle, chopping board, and knife would greatly improve simple in room meal preparation. Please note that a car is absolutely essential for staying at this beautifully presented rural retreat."

"Beautiful hotel in Modica - we stayed for 4 nights over Easter and the hotel, location and staff were amazing. Each room is a converted house, meaning they're individual/characterful and a real taste of Sicily. Breakfast in the garden was delicious, and the pool (just about warm in April!) was spectacular with views over the town. Modica itself is really special - and captivated us (including our 10 and 12 year old). I'd recommend Casa Talia unconditionally!"

"It's surprisingly far from the city center and difficult to walk to, so please be careful. However, there is a small garden and a field, so you can relax. The breakfast is also very luxurious, with a variety of sweets, tarts, freshly squeezed fruit juice, and more. This is a great B&B to relax at."

"The location is great and the welcome we received was great ( it feels a bit mean to criticise but need to). This is an olde building next to the cathedral in Modica alta. Essentially the interior has been ripped out and replaced with something ultra modern. Furnishings are cheap and cleanliness is not great (stains on the carpet and mould inThe shower). Getting a beer when we arrived was like appearing in your own episode of ‘Fawlty Towers’. The glass door to the balcony in our room was cracked.Breakfast was very simple, fruit juice served in plastic cups ( not very sustainable). However staff were really friendly. We wouldn’t return."

"We hebben gebleven in de camper gebied voor 3 nachten , met de scooter ; het is comfortabel om Modica te bezoeken , Ragusa , Cycli . U kunt de wc-kast in een toilet downloaden en het laden van water . We downloaden meestal de grijze met een vaatje dag per dag en dus hebben we niet gevoeld het ontbreken van de camper service . De manager is zeer comfortabel voor de behoeften . We waren goed , we slapen rustig op de avond . winkelcentra ongeveer 2,5 km"
