"My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 30th year of employment. The first thing that impressed us was the dinner we had upon arrival. The sashimi platter, braised Shimonita pork, a small hotpot of conger eel, grilled sweetfish, and stone-grilled Joshu beef sirloin were all delicious. My wife, who is usually quiet, commented, "I feel like I'm enjoying the most delicious beef I've ever had in my life." The room was also cozy and spacious, like a living room. The view from the window and the sound of the babbling river were soothing. The hot spring water left my skin feeling smooth, and the view from the open-air bath, surrounded by the forest and the sound of the river, created wonderful memories for us. On the way back, we stopped off at Doai Station, Japan's most popular mole station, which I'd always wanted to visit, and it was a fun trip. I'd like to return in a different season. "Sarugakyo Onsen. I booked a twin room, but was surprised to find that there were four beds in the room. The heating was very powerful and the room warmed up quickly.
