Located in the CBD with walking distance to everything in town & the river, including the gin distillery! Very quiet room, but overlooking the roof. Carpet very worn in places and possibly on the verge of being a trip hazard. Room was spacious & comfortable, room service meals cooked at the hotel were better than expected and a decent size. Old building and rustic in ways, so hallways go off in all directions, lift available but easy to walk up the stairs. Parking in the centre easy to get in and out of.

although this motel has seen better days, it is well priced and clean. maintenance has fallen behind which is a pity because with a bit more effort it would be a much better place to stay. The restaurant was excellent although with limited choices. The pool was much appreciated on our stay as the temp rose above 38. Book direct and negotiate. King deluxe room was good.

I regularly stay in Mildura and surrounds for work, and I have to say, the Chaffey is one of our favourites. The chef, kitchen staff and general dining experience is what makes booking here worthwhile. They could not have done more to make our couple of days there more pleasant. The food was outstanding, the gin even better and the conversation/banter second to none! I am not sure if there are new managers/owners this year but the cleanliness of the accommodation part of the Chaffey has dropped a little, hence not a five star- but it wouldn’t take much to bring it back to what it used to be. You can tell these guys are really trying to get back on their feet after Covid and I have no doubt they will get there. Some constructive feedback would be to pay a bit more attention to the outdoor spaces, cobwebs under chairs, clean the pool glass, general tidy up of the little veggie space etc.. In the rooms, the bathrooms are starting to show their age but in general they are a lot better than many other motel type accommodation! I look forward to seeing you all next month!

We stayed in a king executive. Very comfortable bed and neat and tidy bathroom. Nice sitting area. Did not have time to use the pool but looked very inviting and clean. Even though room was near the highway, did not hear any road noise. Would recommend this place whilst in Mildura.

Overall a professionally-run hotel right in the centre of things. Service was good – they sped things up so I could utilise the room (I had arrived early). Did not eat at the hotel. I can certainly recommend the pizza restaurant which is a few doors up. A good place to stay for business in Mildura.
