"I stayed one night with my wife in a double room. The room was basically clean (there was a long spider web and dust of about 10 cm in the bathroom) and can be considered a normal room, which does not justify the high cost. The two swimming pools and the wellness area with sauna and Turkish bath available to guests are appreciated. I booked a 90-minute treatment (Rasul Haman) at the spa for my wife. Apart from the mix-up with the booking time, which was changed more than once without even being notified, my wife would have liked to add another treatment, but they did not have any other appointments available. Nevertheless, they reduced the time of the booked treatment by including the second one, but leaving the price of the first one unchanged and adding the second one, which was possible thanks to the sale of creams (paid for in cash). Finally, it is curious that the hotel's website advertises the GOLDEN AUTUMN IN MERANO with a 15% discount on accommodation (see the section SPECIAL DEALS of the hotel portal) , but when I asked for the discount by email, Mr David replied that “we are currently in peak season”, which is rather bizarre for October 11! We booked half board with dinner included; the meal was plentiful, and I did not fully appreciate everything (the risotto, for example, had a lot of liquid in the dish). In conclusion, I think the value for money is quite low, mainly because the cost is too high for the quality of the room and the food."

"My wife and I have just returned from a one-week stay at the Park Hotel Mignon, and without exaggeration, it was one of the best holidays we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a special experience. After our journey, we were welcomed with refreshing cold drinks and warm towels, a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for the week ahead. We were then shown to our room. Although we hadn't paid for an upgrade, our room was beautiful, complete with a stunning balcony overlooking the mountains. Once we had settled in, we headed straight to the gardens and pool area. Both were impeccably maintained, spotless, and incredibly inviting. There were plenty of high-quality sunbeds available, each supplied with pristine towels, making it the perfect place to relax. The dining experience deserves a special mention. Dinner typically consisted of six courses, each one beautifully presented and gastronomically sublime. I can honestly say this was the finest hotel dining experience we have ever enjoyed, not just on one memorable evening, but every single night of our stay. The consistency, quality, and creativity of the food were truly remarkable. Adding to all of this was the outstanding staff. Every member of the team we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. It was clear that they took great pride in both their work and the hotel, and their attention to detail helped make our stay unforgettable. While the hotel cannot take direct credit for this, the atmosphere created by the other guests was equally special. We usually keep to ourselves when on holiday, but here we found it impossible not to strike up conversations and enjoy a drink with fellow guests. Almost everyone we spoke to had returned multiple times. One particularly lovely couple were enjoying their fourteenth visit and had already booked for next year. We have never returned to the same hotel twice, but I have to say that Park Hotel Mignon may well be the exception. In summary, if you are planning a trip to this part of Italy, you will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at the Park Hotel Mignon. It is a truly exceptional hotel that delivers outstanding service, superb dining, and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so memorable. We will treasure the memories of this very special week."

"Hotel Juliane is een heerlijk familiehotel in één van de chicste en groenste wijken van Merano. Het is 20 minuten lopen vanaf het centrum en 10 minuten met de bus (gratis want je krijgt een Merano kaart) Het hotel heeft mooie grote kamers met balkon. De bedden zijn erg comfortabel. In de grote tuin met oude bomen is een groot buiten zwembad, Er zijn genoeg ligstoelen rond het zwembad en onder de grote bomen. Heerlijk als je in de ochtend een wandeling hebt gemaakt om dan in de middag bij het zwembad een boek te lezen. (Er is ook een binnen zwembad en een wellness.) Voor de ingang van het hotel is een groot terras waar bij mooi weer ontbeten en gedineerd kan worden. Een heerlijk plek om van het lekker eten te genieten. Wij hadden half pension geboekt en dat is echt top. Mocht het minder mooi weer zijn dan is er binnen ook een eetzaal. De mensen achter de balie en in het restaurant zijn aardig en behulpzaam. Hotel Juliane is voor ons op dit moment het ideale zomervakantie hotel. We waren er vorig jaar voor het eerst en we gaan volgend jaar weer, maar dan wat langer. Merano en Bolzano (met de trein en de Merano kaart) zijn absoluut een bezoekje waard. De botanische tuin ook en in de omgeving heb je prachtige wandel mogelijkheden en zijn er leuke autotochtjes te maken."

"Wat een heerlijk hotel is villa Bavaria! Ik sliep op de eerste etage met uitzicht op de tuin. 's ochtends deed ik de luiken open en scheen de zon lekker naar binnen. In de stad Meran is natuurlijk van alles te doen maar het is ook een heerlijk hotel om te ontspannen, een drankje te doen, een boekje te lezen bij het zwembad. Het personeel was erg aardig. Ze kunnen met een kleine korting voor je een reservering maken bij de Therme Meran. Tenslotte het eten er goed. Het ontbijtbuffet 's ochtends met een eitje dat je zelf kunt koken en het diner 's avonds met een fantastische keuze. En vraag om de Weinemphelung, ze zullen je graag willen helpen."
