"De weg naar de plaats is vrij small, dus een tuk tuk is beter. Ze spelen natuurmuziek in de nacht, maar konden niet de techno muziek die de hele nacht blaast. Regengeluid kan heel luid zijn als het het dak raakt. De bediende schoonte snel na de storm het zwembad. De tuin was goed bezorgd en vol levendige botervliegen en vogels. De bediende adviseerde een paar tours. Neem de whalen niet op zoek naar de tour omdat die tour niet professioneel was en ze laten passagiers/kinderen de boot vol met 90 passagiers. Over het algemeen adviseer ik het hotel als u een vrijemiddag wilt bij een mooi zwembad. Ze hebben 2 aircons in de kamer en warm water voor douche."

I stayed in the Sugar Suite, which was beautifully designed and incredibly spacious. It featured a luxurious Jacuzzi tub, comfortable sofas, and a dedicated wardrobe area that made the room feel even more organised and relaxing. The highlight was the stunning view from the window - overlooking Coconut Tree Hill, which made the stay feel even more special. The location is perfect - right in the heart of Mirissa and just a short, easy walk to Coconut Tree Hill. There are plenty of great food options nearby, which made everything so convenient. The housekeeping team were lovely and kept the room immaculate, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They spoke very good English, which made communication easy and stress-free. Overall, I was extremely happy with the experience and would definitely stay here again."

Yes, there's a road nearby, but it absolutely doesn't disturb your rest and relaxation. Everything is clean and tidy, and there's a kitchen, which is very convenient for longer stays. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away. If you're looking for a peaceful place with a nice atmosphere and close proximity to nature – I wholeheartedly recommend it!"

"As the first person to write a review, I'll say right away: I absolutely recommend staying here! This hotel is wonderful in every way, from the service to the secluded atmosphere. The breakfasts are excellent – even with just one main menu, there's still a good selection. I was surprised by how well-stocked the room was: I'm not talking about the mini-bar and drinking water, but the bathroom, which has absolutely everything you need, including perfumed toiletries. The conditioner, shampoo, body lotion, and scrub are all fantastic quality. The room is incredibly spacious, and the shower is wonderful. It matches the photos and description 100%. I want to thank the staff for their hospitality, the manager and owner for their smiles and morning chats, and the chef for the excellent cuisine and for helping with a special personal request. It's very close to the coastline, with restaurants, beach clubs, and shops nearby. It was my first time in Sri Lanka, and I have to say, in some ways, I liked this hotel even more than the island itself. Rating: 10/10. I will definitely be back!"

"De sfeer binnen het hotel is prachtig. Maar als je een lichte slaap bent, kan het niet de beste keuze zijn, omdat je de geluiden van dieren van ongeveer 4 uur kunt horen. Dit is heel normaal voor een hotel in het midden van de natuur. Als je daar comfortabel bent, dan zou er helemaal geen probleem zijn. In het algemeen is het een zeer mooi hotel en ik had een goede ervaring hier te blijven."

"Ze woonden in twee van 12 april tot 17 april, de personeelsleden zijn erg aardig, het uitzicht van het raam is mooi. Op de onderkant van de koffie, die bijna niet ingerukt, goed behalve uit de keuken soms geur. De locatie van het hotel was leuk, naar de hoofdstraat om in de schaduw van de bomen te gaan, kunt u de burunducci ontmoeten, naar het restaurant om koffie onder de boom te drinken. Na Mirisa ging naar Hickadouv en waardeerde deze rust en relutantie. De kamer is niet comfortabel in het huis, geen plaats om koffers, geen kluis, kledinghaken gespookt over een theepot, een stoel. De kamer op verzoek schoonmaken, vragen we elke dag, kunt u ook strandtoestellen op verzoek. In kamer 2 flessen water, thee, koffie."

"Uitstekende locatie. Heel dichtbij de haven van Mirissa en Weligama. Vond het pand leuk. Ze regelden op verzoek een diner bij kaarslicht in het nabijgelegen strand, omdat het mijn huwelijksreis was, zonder extra kosten. Vond het strand, de zwemfaciliteiten en het buffet voor zowel het diner als het ontbijt. Ontbijtdoos geregeld omdat ik walvissen moest spotten en mijn ontbijt zou hebben gemist. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Het enige wat ze kunnen verbeteren is een beetje snelle service, omdat we meerdere keren moesten bellen om onze kamer schoon te maken."

"Just wow. The Sevana is stunning - such an amazing place to spend a few days. Surrounded by paddy fields and countryside but just a short TukTuk ride from the beach, it’s so peaceful and relaxing. The main building and pool area is beautiful and the cabanas are all nestled away separately and absolutely gorgeous - from the comfy beds to the outside showers. We had a few meals there and the staff went above and beyond to cater for my celiac son and the food was delicious. There’s a gym and a lovely yoga space and pool towels just seemed to appear when we needed them - we felt so looked after. This is a gem of a hotel - highly recommended!"
