Riad Tizwa Marrakech

Riad Tizwa is a true gem in Marrakech! The staff here is incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms are beautifully designed with a perfect mix of traditional charm and modern comfort. And don't even get me started on the rooftop terrace! We had the most amazing stay at Raid Tizwa. The staff were fantastic, so warm, welcoming and helped us whenever we needed anything, even arranging our unforgettable Hot Air Ballon ride (highly recommended). The Riad and rooms are exquisite and it was a haven of tranquility to come back to amongst the exciting bustle of Marrakesh. The location is fanatic as it right next to the soak but just far enough away not to be noisy. I can’t wait to go back, plus to stay at their place in Fez. Thank you for making our trip so memorable. 🙏 p.s the breakfast was delicious.

After stumbling across this riad in 2016 whilst staying out on the Palmeraie, my wife and I decided to try a nights stay. We fell in love with the place and since then it has become our second home. The owners and staff we now consider as family. So many happy times have been spent inside the tranquility of this riad. Birthdays, Anniversaries and celebrating new jobs. We've shared happy news and sad news with each other here. Seen off a pandemic, visited during a curfew, visted in the extreme august temperatures, stayed up talking on the roof terrace until the early hours, sank one or two gin and tonics, even held a boxing class on the roof. Drank copious amounts of mint tea and have now mastered the art of making it. We have met people from all over the world who we love to pass on our Marrakech experiences and tips with. If you are reading this and are looking for a traditional riad perfectly located, where the staff are amazing then I guarantee that this is the place to stay. Hassan the riad manager is the heart and soul supported by Aziz, Malika and Aziza they will take good care of you. We visted in June 2023 to celebrate Sam's 40th Birthday, an 11 day stay in the city. We are very much looking forward to returning later in the year. Inchallah ❤️🇲🇦

Having stayed at its sister riad in Fes, we suspected that the Marrakesh branch of the Tizwa family would be equally stylish and welcoming. I'm happy to say we were correct. Like the one in Fes, this is a calm and peaceful oasis that is conveniently located in the Medina, with tastefully decorated rooms that mix and match mid-century classics with traditional Berber touches-- the huge mirrors, dark woods, colourful wool rugs, 50s plastic chairs and zellij mosaics are made for Instagram. The breakfast of fresh juice, coffee, pastries, breads, fruit and yoghurt is available all day for anybody that's stayed up all night, though as less-than-hedonistic Brits, we opted to take it at 9am on the roof terrace. The latter, incidentally, is a great place to meet other travellers with its mix of seating areas, lounging areas and outdoor showers. Once again, the staff were exceptional, especially Hassan, the manager, who organised a desert excursion for us as well as proffering hints and tips throughout our stay. 5 stars!

We loved our stay at Riad Tizwa! The staff are super, they all feel like family the moment you step over the threshold and as dond really appear to see that their role is to enable, support, have a chat, offer advice, make you comfortable. The road is gorgeous too, full of personal touches, love the bathrooms and all the local Berber products to try. Bed was super comfy and huge! Location is great, easy walking distance from everything it seemed, only problem is deciding whether to while away the hours catching up with old friends on the rooftop or head off into the Medina...

Thank you to everyone at Riad Tizwa for such a wonderful stay! This is a beautiful traditional Riad with stylish boutique touches that make a stay here extra special. Riad Tizwa really does feel like a home from home, the staff are delightful, super welcoming and attentive. The courtyard and terraces offer calm relaxing spaces away from the bustle of the Medina. The day starts with the sound of bird song and it’s hard to drag yourself away from the wonderful breakfast served on the beautiful roof terrace! Location is excellent, a short walk to restaurants and a number of places to visit. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and individually decorated with carefully selected pieces. Above all it’s the personal touch that makes a difference. We will be back!

We loved our time at Riad Tiwza. Hassan the house manager was so helpful and warm. He helped to book us a walking tour that was great. We enjoyed the afternoons on the rooftop drinking tea and enjoying the views. The breakfast was quite good! The staff was all very kind and helpful!

This hotel is simply lovely! Perfect location, walking distance from the market where you can find anything you need. Staff were always extremely helpful. Room was very nice and clean. It felt like home.

Beautiful clam oasis in Marrakesh very well located, easy to walk into the heart of the medina and also head out on day trips around Marrakesh. Hassan and Aziz where thee prefect hosts, always there for every need we had and very knowledgeable about the city. Would highly recommend this Riad if you’re planning to visit Marrakesh.
