Riad Tamarrakecht

The experience with Riad was very nice. Everything was ok, we stayed for 2 nights, the place is very calm with nice Moroccan a**osphere. We had a nice breakfast included in the price of accommodation. The rooftop terrace was the best! The only negative was the shower, was a bit difficult to set the correct temperature of the water as well as the surroundings were a bit odd.

The stay was such an amazing experience. A familiar place with a great hospitality from the staff. The room was very clean and big, such a cozy place to stay in Marrakech. Breakfast was really yummy and with great variety! Would definitely come back to it :)

We stay one week there. + The room Decorations is amazing. It is many carvings. feel like Princess. + The Host „Aminah“ is the best. She help us aloot and always smile. She is the best Host. + The room was very clean and nice. + Aminah help us also with Day tours, eventhough we booked Last Minute. + Feel like at home with helping from Aminah. ~ The wifii super slow. - The Bed is too hard for me. But Aminah help me with my idea to solve this problem. - Few times until 23.00 still can hear yoga Music and people talking from downstairs/ Pool area. The room would be nicer if they make with sound proof.

This a family owned place where they make you feel like you are part of the family. From the first day they took care of everything to make sure we have the best experience ever. They explain all you need about staying in Marrakech, gave us tips about the city and helped with everything possible. Rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean, the whole place is stunning like from a fairytale. Kitchen is unbelievable, all freshly cooked and served with love. We were a group of friend from 4 different countries and we all loved the place and the people. I recommend this place to everyone who wants great and unforgettable time in Marrakech. We celebrated new year in the riad and this was the best decision we made for this year. It was pure fun, all organized by this gentle, good hearted family. Thank you. See you soon ❤️

During our stays in Morocco we had the pleasure to visit a few riads and believe us Riad Tamarrakecht is once and only. It is located in the center of the old town and still so quiet like to be somewhere far from the city. Within a few minutes walk you can reach the heart of Marrakech -Jamaa el Fna Square, outstanding Medresa ibn Jusuf or beautiful Bahia Palace. From the very beginning you are warmly welcomed by smiling staff. Of Course with companion fresh mint tea and delicious sweets. When it is really hot outside and you want to cool down you can jump to the shaded pool. After an evening walk along charming streets you can rest on the rooftop where you can relax and look at stars. Our room was so perfect! We fell in love with stained windows. It was so magic to see so many colourful beams in our room. Have to admit that we used the room fridge quite often to keep our drinks cold. Can not describe all of the prons of our stay in Riad Tamarrakech. We will definitely go back there.

The most amazing experience as being in the Medina coming back to this Riad, family run and the food is sublime cooked by Mama. Love the family and all and we will come back here definitely. Lots of love and will be missed with the craziness outside . Thank you for the warm hospitality and the love.

Beautiful and charming Riad. Located inside Medina, 10 min walking from FNA place, the attention was incredible! Sara is a really incredible hoster. She explain us everything and was always ready for solving issues and giving advices. The Terrace is incredible with space for a relaxing tea or a sun bath. With a shower just in case, the rooms are big, well decorated and practical with Morocco style everywhere. The pool es little but very charming and making the patio a relax place to have breakfast or reading or just relaxing. I would recommend this Riad with no doubt!

The hospitality was second to none. This family run Riad is a beautiful oasis in the dusty and chaotic medina of Marrakech. Sara and Moktare were incredible hosts and gave so much of their time to ensure that every guest's needs were attended to. They painstakingly gave us directions around the Medina, info on taxi prices and tips on navigating the city. Their help was invaluable and ensured we felt safe. They were always very kind and courteous. I have not experienced this level of welcome anywhere else in my travels. This is an absolutely beautiful riad. The rooms were immaculate. Breakfast was very filling and tasty and the dinner we had on the first night was delicious. There's also a beautiful relaxing roof terrace. And don't forget to immerse yourself in the beautiful small inside pool strewn with rose petals!!! Morocco is such a diverse country with many wonderful sights to be seen. But being introduced to such a warm welcome in such a beautiful riad sets the tone for your experience. I would recommend having the Riad arrange a taxi to get you from the airport to the Riad. The medina streets can be chaotic and quite confusing, and Google maps isn't always reliable. Cars cannot come into the Medina at certain times and certainly not the narrow streets to get to the riad. It will save you time and be less stressful having the driver take you there.
