Wat heb ik een heerlijk verblijf gehad in villa Makassar. Het Riad biedt een fijne tegenhanger van het drukke, bruisende Marrakesh. Bij binnenkomst wordt je direct omarmd door de ontspannende sfeer, de rust en de schoonheid van Villa Makassar. De kamers zijn schoon, het zwembad is heerlijk en het verse ontbijt is elke dag weer genieten. Verder zijn er verschillende ruimtes om te ontspannen, een mooi dakterras met jacuzzi en een prachtige spa. Het personeel is fantastisch, ze zijn ontzettend vriendelijk, warm en meer dan gastvrij. Voor een verblijf in Marrakesh raad ik Villa Makassar dan ook zeker aan, ik kom er graag weer terug!

Fantastisch verblijf in Villa Makassar. Een prachtige oase van rust en comfort in het bruisende Marrakech. Bezienswaardigheden zijn op loopafstand. De medewerkers zijn ontzettend gastvrij, behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Heerlijk eten en een fijne Spa. Een absolute aanrader, ik kom zeker terug..!

Located in the heart of the Kasbah district, this place give you much more of a locals experience. This place is a boutique hotel with a very personal touch and all of the staff are personable and attentive. Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable. We used the rooftop terrace hot tub one night and they served us with mint tea! The breakfast is simple and delicious, with an assor**ent of jams, spreads and various breads. We enjoyed the kitchen’s freshly made omelettes. We would definitely stay here again!

We arrived on a super hot day to the hotel, and were greeted by a beautiful courtyard, cool drinks and mint tea. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, they assisted us with arranging tours, taxis to the airport and made us sandwiches for our journey home. Although fully booked the hotel always had a calm feel, the lovely pool area we often had to ourselves along with the roof terrace. Situated in the Kasbah area, the hotel was well placed to allow you to see Marrakesh and was a short walking distance, (approx 20-25 mins) to the main souks and square. Everything was clean, and it was a little spot of tranquility in the busy city. Many thanks for the team for making our stay so lovely. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Makassar. Especially the friendly staff made us feel very welcome and at home. The breakfast is great and varies from day to day, and the room was beautifully decorated. The restaurant is also very good and the entertainment during dinner was excellent.

This was truly one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. The hotel staff were fantastic very friendly and happy to help out with any request we had. We were made to feel so welcome, like family, and would definitely stay here again. Samira and Ismail were fantastic. The hotel was extremely clean, the suite room was amazing and Billy the pianist / singer was fantastic and there every night Would definitely return here

This hotel offers a different take on the Riad experience by decorating and dressing every part of their building in an art deco style. From the lift buttons to the coffee tables everything is in keeping with that design ethos, resulting in a place that feels stylish and sophisticated. The overall colour scheme of creams and browns may look a little muted compared to the tessalated tiles and tropical planting you’ll see in other places in Marrakesh but it feels calm and relaxed. With two raids knocked into one, there’s plenty of space and even a reasonable sized (and heated!) swimming pool! The location, at the end of Rue de la Kasbar still feels pretty central, even if it isn’t right in the centre of the city. The staff were all great too. It’s not fair to single any individuals out because everyone was welcoming and helpful from the manageress to Najat who keep our room spotless but also went to great trouble to provide extra padding on our mattress for my wife who was recovering from a back operation. Stay here with confidence.

The service from start to finish was impeccable. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. When we arrived, they did not have a room with two separate beds for me and my sister. However, the next day they moved us to a room with two separate beds . The food at the restaurant was amazing!! And you must try out their Hamman. The rooms were very clean. Beautiful hotel!!
