"We hebben hier gebleven voor een evenement in Maribor. Als u in het centrum moet zijn, is dit niet de beste plek, tenzij u een auto hebt. Het hotel is gelegen aan de rand van Maribor, vlak bij de wandelingen. De kamers zijn groot en schoon. Automatie gaat een beetje ver als ik. De curtains openen en sluiten wanneer je naar de kamer gaat. TV werkte niet, maar werd snel geregeld. Kamers zijn warm, maar het houden van de ramen open geholpen tijdens de nacht. Ontbijt is buffet-stijl en is OK. We waren er vroeg elke dag, dus het was niet te druk. Het eten is buffer of een la-cart. Buffet is OK-ish maar ik zou meer verwachten. Een la-cart diner was vrij goed met mooie steaks. Drinken in de bar zijn hoger dan gemiddelde in Slovenië."

"The hotel is nicely located, just across the street from the City Centre, and a short walk to the river promenade. The neighbourhood is quite, clean and safe. The hotel furniture and amenities are quite practical and adequate. The included breakfast is well stocked with good variety. The only question is the charge of 10 Euro for parking your car there, while there are ample of street parking right next to the hotel."

"Our stay at Hotel Arena in Slovenia was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The setting alone is breathtaking — right at the base of the ski slope, with stunning mountain views and immediate access to the outdoors. The location truly couldn’t be better. The hotel itself is gorgeous — beautifully designed, warm, and welcoming. The beds were incredibly comfortable (some of the best sleep we’ve had while traveling!), and every space felt thoughtfully curated and peaceful. What made the stay even more special was the staff. Everyone we encountered was genuinely kind, attentive, and eager to help. You feel cared for the moment you arrive. And the food — truly delicious. Every meal felt fresh, beautifully prepared, and satisfying. It elevated the entire experience. The front desk staff even took a special trip to town to get postcards for my daughter. Just above and beyond in every way. Also, the spa is beautiful and the massages are great and affordable. If you’re looking for a place that combines natural beauty, comfort, warmth, and excellent cuisine, Hotel Arena is a gem. We left feeling restored and already planning our return. Highly, highly recommend."
