Word wakker in Makrinitsa en kijk naar die scène is een ervaring in zichzelf. Maar wat ons verblijf echt herinnerde was de combinatie van comfort, gastvrijheid, aandacht voor de details, en dat onmiskenbare gevoel van welkom in plaats van gewoon ingewoond. Elke klein detail leek te zeggen: “Rustig, je bent precies waar je moet zijn.” Als je op zoek bent naar een plek met ziel, karakter, onvergetelijke uitzichten, en echte gastvrijheid, dan is het het.
