The first time I went to the Maldives, I chose this island, all inclusive, and the experience was very good There are Chinese-speaking staff on the island, and the communication is very convenient. From the perspective of tourists on the island, about 20 [%] are Chinese. There are 4 restaurants on the island, a main restaurant, a Beijing restaurant, a Ceylon restaurant and an underwater restaurant. The experience of the subsea restaurant is good, about 6 meters below the sea level, and the food is delicious. In addition, a series of activities will be arranged on the island, including sea fishing and dolphin watching (if you do not want to snorkel) We live in a water house, and the room is in good condition. I think it may be better than the sand house experience. In short, very good experience ~

We stayed in the hotel with the room with the swimming pool, this one was very good but the service leaves something to be desired. The hotel contains 3 islands, it is not possible to eat on another island than ours compared to the buffet and the prices of the restaurants are overpriced. When it comes to activities, nothing is free, plan a big activity budget (scuba diving at $350 per person, for example), on the positive side, you will find 4 swimming pools, 2 of which are adults only. As for our ”referent” he was totally absent and useless we had to go to the reception to ask for everything and anything like for Check out for example. However the rest of the staff was very pleasant throughout the stay and really took care of us. It's a little corner of paradise in which we were able to see magnificent baby sharks and a fish aquarium but if we had to come back it wouldn't be here. (Breakfast in the pool to avoid)

Rosy Villa Hotel features free bikes, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Guraidhoo. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and an ATM. Our company gave us 10 days holiday and our last hotel destination was Marina Bay Retreat and Spa. I and my other 5 colleagues was amazed with the services they have specially diving and snorkeling in Guraidhoo Island. The Hotel is located in front of the beach and if we only know we would have not stayed in a water villa resort. The new manager of Marina Bay is pretty amazing. I feel like I was in Boracay island since the new manager is from the Philippines. He shared his vision to the hotel and well enough, he showed us the real customer service and the value of money we spend during our stay! Definitely we will comeback here!

Sincere gratitude to the host Hamdhaan and all his team who made our holiday in Feb 2022 unforgettable We felt like home! I booked 3 Rooms in Ithaa Beach, however when we arrived the host offered to chose between Ithaa and another his hotel Sigeny View. The second one was located at bikiny beach, we chose this one. So the review is not about a hotel but the service, which I beleive is the same in both hotels. We took full board: it was not big choice of dishes, but very fresh and tasty. The portions are big. My favorites: penne with reef fish, tuna fried rice and chicken curry. Amazing seafood bbq: fish, octopus, lobsters. Guys can arrange romantic dinner at the beach or bbq party. Fruits, fresh juses and icecream are available as well. They adore kids. And even played with my restless toddler so I could have my dinner in peace:) My son became best friends with our waiter mister Kalam. Guys made their best to make us happy. And they really did. Hamdhaan organised snorckling excursions for us with dolphins, sharks and reef fishes. Great experience. Two hours ride with dolphins is 20$ per adult and 15$ per child. 4 hours ride with sharks and dolphins is 40$/20$. 2 kayaks, snorkling masks and fins are available in the hotel for free The island itself is very good for family holidays. 40min ride from  Male (speed board is 25$ per person one way). There is a nice beaches where you can find shallow water for kids and dip water to sweem and free dive.  There is an instagramy sand bank and reach home reef for snorkling. We saw muray, baby sharks, stingrays, lobsters there.  Big sharks and sting rays come to marina every evening to feed. Once we saw dophins and a tutrtle near the shore. Even if you don't go for excursions you'll see a lot of animals at the island. There is a manta cleaning spot near the iseland, but manta season is from Jun  to  Sep. We found a badminton playground and played with locals (they have a net, otherwise take your own net with you). And there is a good kids playground. Both located near the  pupblic beach. There are two dive centers. We went to Manta divers: 80$ for intro dive and 55$ for those who have PADI license. Good service, we recommend them. SUP serf - 20$ per hour. The owner, whose name is Chai, gave my 5 years old son a free lesson on SUP, while I was riding mine. Not for tips or make me come again it was a sincere expression of love to kids. Locals are very friendly and always try to help. The hospitality ob  the island is one of my biggest impressions of the holiday. If you want to feel the vibes of Maldives then defenetly come to this place and pass a warm hello from me to mister Hamdhaan!

+ delicious breakfast: we requested vegan (fruit, veg curry, roshi, bread) and traditional Maldivian (mashuni roshi) + immaculately clean + air con + good wifi + bottled water provided every day + the host is very polite and a beautiful person. He’s happy to organise anything for you: speedboat in and out of the island, takeaway food, excursions. We felt like at home, with dad looking after us 😊 + only a few steps to the bikini beach - there was nothing we didn’t like. PS: if you’re island hoping, make sure you visit the stunning small island of Fulidhoo (our favourite out of Guraidhoo, Gulhi, Fulidhoo, Hulumalle & Diffushi).

We arrived very late to Male. Due to Ramadan, our pre-booked speedboat was cancelled, so I asked Ilham to help us with arranging speedboat transfer. He did his best plus he was waiting for us at the airport and guided us to Guraidhoo island. From La Isla Tropica they arranged a mini van for our luggages. Rohan is a very kind person, I have never expected such hospitality and support. He help us in everything: getting medicine to the hurt shoulder, offering great suncream, preparing takeaway breakfast and organizing boat trip. Whatever we needed: he was always there to help. I cannot thank him enough for his great personality. We all like the breakfast and dinner, which were tasty and more than enough :) I would defienetly like to return, we had gorgeous 6days in La Isla Tropica and in Guraidhoo.

The experience at Guraidhoo island was really amazing. The island is local, so you have to take in count that it will not be residences and staff like this. This hotel is really pretty, clean and familiar. The food is really good. The staff is absolutely the best; all the people there is so kind and helpfull. I stayed here for more or less one week and every day we went to another trip/excursion. My favourite excursion was the shark excursion, but also the others (we saw the coral reef, the turtles, the dolphins, we went fishing…) were so spectacular. During all the trips the staff will make for you the lunch, that can take on: fresh fruits (orange, coconut, watermelon) some rice, salads etc. One day after an excursion they took us (like always) in another island or it could be a sand board and cooked for us a typical maldivian lunch. So delicious! The staff really take care about every details. You can see in their eyes the real kindness! After my holiday I can say, that the magnificent landscape and the wonderful animals take a back seat. I will always carry with me the memory of the caring and heartfelt people I left on this island.

The scenery in the Maldives hotel is naturally nothing to say The booked water villas are generally good, But there are a few points that make me feel the shortcomings of 3500/night Let me talk about the advantages first: 1 The Chinese service of the Malaysian brother who checked in at the hotel was very kind and friendly, so he helped me book dinner, birthday cake and late check-out! 2 The guest room redecorated the room after learning about my husband’s birthday 3Dinner restaurant staff gave my husband a birthday cake and music, thank you very much Next, let’s talk about the sanitation of five-star hotels 1 Countless flies on our food while we were having breakfast, indescribable and very uncomfortable 2 I don't understand that dinner does not contain alcohol, but at least a few options are needed.

There is a lot of hotel choice in the Maldives, but there is something quite unique about Cocoa Island and that’s the feeling of being somewhere with people whom love to live and work there. There is a real sense of community in the staff and as per some of the other reviews, several have been there for over a decade. Although we were first time visitors, it was clear that many people had stayed and returned time and time again and felt they had a relationship with the staff. This was really unique for a hotel we felt. By far the physical best element of the island is the snorkelling straight from your room onto one of 3 private reefs. From here we saw reef shark, sting ray and a huge array of fish, this felt like a special to have this the moment you wake up at your disposal. Cocoa island is small and has a boutique feel. If you want to escape the crowds and have your trip feel a bit more bespoke than mass tourism, cocoa is a good option for you. If you want busy evenings and endless activities or entertainment the maybe not. It does just have one restaurant and one bar, but that should not deter your choosing this hotel, the variety on the menu/menus are vast and changes everyday in some way, with the themed set menu evenings additional to this, there is no need to get bored of the food, quite the opposite. The staff and chefs are also very varied in their skill and accommodating to your needs. The food is high quality, and masterfully executed every night, we could not fault it along with the huge array of drinks options, far beyond what you would expect from a resort of this size. Some of the best cocktails we’ve had. Overall, we would echo other reviews to say don’t come at CNY or half term if you want total peace and quiet, but this isn’t a particularly family orientated place, so as long as you are out of those main seasons it should be beautifully peaceful. The 45 min transfer by boat is convenient and easy compared to waiting for a seaplane. We would highly recommend.
