St.Joseph Hotel

The room was not very clean but the location was quite good.

酒店本身沒有問題，衹是臨街比較吵，埃及的窗户都是那種推拉式的，密封條隨着使用會老化導致隔音效果變差、這個賓館的窗户就存在這種問題，也許對於當地人是一種常態，但對於習慣了安靜睡眠環境的人可能會不適應

The rooms in general are good, the air conditioning is very noisy, the Wi-Fi connection works very poorly, the receptionists do not speak good English. Which makes communication and booking of services very difficult. I am not happy with the transfer service they offered us for the visit to Kings Valley. The driver didn't speak any English, the car ran out of fuel and we had to walk a stretch. They charged us a pretty high price for Egyptian costs, and the service was not good. On a positive note, the hotel is located in a good area. Very close to the center, just 15 minutes walk from the Luxor temple. Next to the hotel, there are very good restaurants and cafes. I would like to highlight the kindness of the receptionists, allowing us to wait all afternoon in the lobby, while we waited for the schedule for the bus station.

Great location overlooking the nile, the pool was fantastic and the rooms comfortable. We stayed for one day only whilst we waited for the train home

The room was very basic and very old. Only one socket in the middle of the bed at pillow height. Air conditioning was very loud. They did not provide and water, tea, coffee etc…there was no wifi and we were told we can ask the bazar for use of their wifi (who uses the hotel name as their wifi name, and we can pay a little for the password.) They said the resturant is closed because of Covid (March 2024 with NO covid restrictions in place). Overall we were glad it was only for one night.

Checked in in 14/02/2023 and had to wait 30 mins after 12 hours traveling in the dustiest lobby ever! as the staff claimed that they are cleaning the room cause no rooms are empty. The room in the first floor, the street noises are unbearable, TV and air-conditioning are down and not working. The staff have the most unprofessional attitude ever, they even told me that the roof " the only place that you can breath" is closed when it's actually open. In the room there's that old as temple carpet that smells like corpus. Not recommended to visit or even consider it in your plans to book.

I just love the Staff and other people around the hotel very positive happy 😊 and helpfull I have a problem getting around on my legs and the help was always at hand please came and have much fun on the roof top pool with view to kill for what can I say the manager on hand and around every day asking if every think is OK well what can you say but Thank you St,Joseph hotel

Das Hotel wirkt von außen hässlich, die Einrichtung ist einfach, alt, etwas abgewohnt, und die Räume (Lobby, Restaurant, Zimmer) wirken allesamt dunkel. Aber: alles war sehr sauber. Wir haben hier nur eine Nacht geschlafen, dafür bietet das Hotel ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. 3 Sterne landestypisch (also 2+ bei uns), mit großen bequemen Betten, Badewanne und Dusche, Klimaanlage, Nilblick und großem Balkon. Der Dachgarten verfügt über eine Bar, Snackbar und einen kleinen Pool. Das Personal gibt sich große Mühe, den Gästen das Gefühl zu geben, willkommen zu sein. Hinter der Rezeption stehen kleine Einzelsafes zur Verfügung. Allerdings liegt es an der Hauptstraße und ist echt sehr laut, zumal die Fenster gar nicht schallisoliert sind. Dafür liegt es aber auch sehr zentral für Ausflüge und Unternehmungen.

Terrible hotel, desde un insoportable olor a tabaco en todo el establecimiento (incluyendo la habitación) hasta un constante ruido proveniente de las calles (aislamiento acústico inexistente). La piscina y el bar de la terraza estaban cerrados. Lo peor de todo fue el intento por parte del recepcionista y después del dueño del hotel de cobrarme un 25% más de lo indicado por Booking, aludiendo a su falta de margen, los impuestos, etc,etc.... por supuesto no lo permití pero me pareció increíble la maniobra. Yo no volveré nunca y aconsejo evitar este hotel a toda costa, si aún así decide ir, mejor que lleve los $ o € para pagar en esas monedas.
