"Dit is een mooie plek, we bleven in de 'kwartier', die meer was als een bijgebouw en het had twee kamers waarvan we een bezette. De kamer was goed, we genoten ontbijt in de eetkamer en het ontbijtmenu had ook veel keuze, die was geweldig. Er waren opties voor een volledig Engels-stijl ontbijt, maar ook opties voor granen en vruchten, enz. We besloot een avond te eten in het hotel en we waren zeer blij met onze keuze. Het eten was uitstekend kwaliteit en zeer aangename. Het hotel is een korte wandeling in het centrum, zeer dicht bij het kasteel waard om te bezoeken en u kunt het kasteel zien van de weg die u van het hotel naar de stad loopt."

"The Hotel Manager on duty had never heard of Trip.com, one of the major online booking sites and wouldn't accept the pre paid booking. The check in / out staff seemed unable to resolve anything. The bathroom smelt of drains and for the price the room was average. The hotel insist on a £50 incidental charge and are incapable of processing refunds and managing accounts, so be very wary of giving them card details."

"Can highly recommend this hotel for staying in Ludlow. We stayed while we went to the Live at Ludlow Castle event and it was perfect. Close proximity to the town - within walking distance, however we did opt to get a taxi as were not familiar with the area! Just a side note - Ludlow doesn't have an Uber service so if going to an event there try and plan in advance and book a local taxi - we recommend Shire cars and Andy's Taxi's. The hotel was clean and comfortable and everything you needed for a budget overnight stay. We had a warm welcome on reception and staff were very helpful. The hotel was quiet and we had a great nights sleep. There is good parking outside and a great location. There is a great pub the Squirrel next door which does a breakfast from 0900 and food during the day -not part of the travel lodge but really handy! If you are looking for a short stay and budget hotel can definitely recommend a stay and a visit to Ludlow!"

"We recently stayed here for 3 nights. It's conveniently located for exploring South Shropshire and Northern Herefordshire. Generously sized room, choice of pillows and a good en-suite. Despite being just off a main road and next to a 24 hour petrol station, the room at the front of the building we had wasn't noisy. The only issue is the huge pothole at the entrance to the site but this isn't the fault of the hotel. There's a little Asda at the petrol station and a Starbucks on the site. We highly reccomend the pub nearby as well, which does lovely food."

"Last minute booking with adult with autism- host Jane was so accommodating- stayed in the Stable lovely little room just what we needed for one night- when ringing to confirm also discussed restaurant attached as possible option- as someone with good allergies she kindly went through options and with no obligation reserved table incase couldn’t find better option- so glad we didn’t as meals where wonderful and filling- don’t even have room for pudding-well youngest did and said best lemon cake he’s ever had though fruit was quickly removed lol well worth visit and parking only quick 5 minutes away- would come again"
