Villa la Tuia B&B

Our stay at Villa La Tuia was absolutely fabulous. Monica and the entire team went above and beyond to provide a welcome and relaxing visit to Lucca. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The made to order breakfasts were extraordinary! Will recommend to friends and family.

A nice villa with garden and parking place. The hosts were really friendly and spoke good English. The room was cleaned every day and new towels were provided. Breakfast was good but you had to book a time slot for when to eat. It’s a 10 minute walk to the city center. On the way there we found bars and restaurants less frequented by other tourists. Great a**osphere, mush more relaxed. A perfect place for us!

Gorgeous villa just outside walls of Lucca. Beautifully decorated room with high ceilings, comfy bed & well appointed bathroom. Breakfast is served on a patio at rear of property with choice of cooked eggs, meats, cheeses & pastries all served by the friendly hosts. The parking is a very welcome & easy add on. Our room did not have a view but we were so close to Lucca & all the town offered, it didn’t matter. We arrived after usual check in but the host sent us photos & instructions so that we could get in. She also phoned to make sure that we were ok. I cannot fault this property, it was superb

Situated just outside the city wall of Lucca, Villa La Tuia is a good choice! The city center with all its shops and restaurants is reachable after a short walk. The breakfast can be chosen the day before and is freshly made. We liked the Villa very much, although the street in front of the B&B was a bit noisy.

Great place to stay one minute from the beautiful walled city of Lucca. Perfrct decor, spotless hotel, breakfast a la carte and warm welcome by Monica and Manuela. Bikes to rent on the premises, Will come back. Paola and David

What a wonderful place! Monica and Manuela are the perfect hosts and go out of their way to make your trip very memorable with so many thoughtful touches. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary whilst staying here and they made it extra special! Thank you ladies x Our welcome was warm and friendly and that continued throughout our stay. The villa overlooks the walls of Lucca so ideally situated and has been beautifully restored. All areas are immaculate and our bedroom was spacious, tastefully furnished and had everything we needed. Trains from Lucca are excellent so we didn’t need to hire a car to travel to Pisa, Cinque Terre and Florence , however car parking is available at the villa if you need to drive. Thank you Monica & Manuela (and the lady who kept our room spotless and restocked daily) for a wonderful stay in Lucca and we wish you the very best for the future. Tracey & Jonathan

Beautifully renovated villa. The hosts are great. Rooms are of decent size and the high ceilings make them even more spacious. When the weather is nice they can serve your breakfast at your own balcony or on the common terrace if your room doesn’t have one. The villa has its own parking lot in the back so you don’t have to worry about parking. The walled city of Lucca starts right across the street. It’s a wonderful little town with very well preserved historical center.

Fabulous place to stay in Lucca. Just outside the city walls so easy access to the town but much more relaxed that being in the town itself. Room spacious and well appointed with view of walls in our case. Loved the room. Breakfast was delicious and out boats were super helpful accommodating our need for an early start to catch a flight.
