"Ik heb de tafel als gastenhuis accommodatie geboekt terwijl ik een bruiloft in Polkobin (De Conventie) heb gehad. Ik had niet gelukkig kunnen zijn met mijn keuze. Jo is een geweldige gastheer en kok en vanaf het moment dat ik uit Sydney kwam later dan gepland voor een lachende gastheer, een drankje, een warm vuur en drie maaltijden. Ik wist dat ik in was voor een heerlijk weekend. Het bed was zo zacht en gezellig. Het 3-cursus ontbijt was ongelooflijk. Jo ging uit om deze drukke moeder de R&R te bieden die ze zo hard nodig had, zelfs op de bruiloft van de volgende dag, een goede 25 minuten rijden weg. Haar schattige hond Harvey is een extra bonus. Dit juweel van een plek voelt als een warme klap. Ik zal zeker terug zijn - en ik ben verleid om de hele plek te boeken met vrienden. Romantisch, rustig en vriendelijk. Geef deze lokale zaak je zaak. Je zult niet teleurgesteld worden. Toeristen, vrachtwagens, lunch en diners waren op verzoek beschikbaar met zo veel of zo weinig gesprekken als je zou willen. Jo lijkt precies te weten wat haar gasten nodig hebben. Dank u nogmaals voor zo'n aangepaste service Jo! Tot ziens."

"Loved this beautiful accommodation! The room was huge and extremely clean. The stone bathtub was to die for. It was the perfect little romantic getaway with my partner. Had gorgeous views over looking the lake. After our wine tour in the area we got to enjoy our purchases on the balcony with a cheeseboard with some ducks swimming through the lake. Very quiet and perfect for some R&R! Will definitely come again."

Vineyard Hill

"Requested earlier check-in..no problem, got my email teeing me which unit, key in door. Arrived...couldn't find the unit. Walked around , 10 minutes great views, finally found it. First impression: very basic. Toilet had skid marks! Spiderwebs on walls, cut finger on e exposed staple on front door. Counter tops sticky and dirty. Dust clumps on floor. Plugged the iron in, bit of a spark at power point. Ironed, left for party at a winery. Returning about 11.00pm. 12.01am received map to find Where to find unit! Bed...clean and comfortable. No lights on bedhead worked. Power point was frizzled! Could smell that it had burned through. Pulling curtain closed, it fell! Dust and cobwebs! Air-conditioning off. Could hear people from every other unit. Eventually, a comfortable sleep. Shower head fell off as the water was turned on. Struggled for 20 minutes to reconnect it. Really needs an overhaul. Fresh paint, and a good clean. Sadly dissapointed."

"We had a lovely time celebrating our wedding anniversary at Adina. The villa was great; fantastic location, wonderfully up-kept and waking up to kangaroos at your back door is very special. The wine tasting was a bit average. None of the wines were particularly enjoyable (considering the competition). The olives were gorgeous and delicious, but the olive tasting experience could have been a bit more extensive. We would’ve loved to try the olive oils for example. We couldn’t get our stove at the villa working (we didn’t bother troubleshooting as it wasn’t so dire) and the spa was unfortunately not operational. The bath was super spacious, however the water was brown and super off-putting. We would stay again, purely for the beautiful views, gorgeous space and the location."

"Het is een prachtige plek in de Australische natuur. Geen echt uitzonderlijke wijnen, maar plaatselijke wijnen vrij licht. Erg aardig en persoonlijk bezoek gunstig. Bovendien, een paar kangoeroes vrij aan de rand van de weg naar het gebied."
