"My trip , was disrupted before we even arrived at the hotel, we contacted Alison at the Village In to advise her we would be much later than expected and have to leave earlier than expected the next day. She was extremely accommodating and whent out of her way to assist and provide a very pleasant stay. I would definitely return next time I'm in the area."

"I was greeted as a returning customer but hadn’t been there for 17years  The staff were very friendly and helpful and polite  The service I received was excellent and the food was excellent that I received  The first room I stayed in was a little bit tired but as it’s a single bed room it was more than acceptable  The second night was a different room as I extended my stay and was a superior single and was more in price but I found it to be excellent  A great hotel with great staff and would recommend a stay if you’re passing through Lockerbie or need a hotel base in the area"

"Best Western hotels zijn allemaal uniek. Als ze onafhankelijk worden beheerd, maar zijn allemaal onderdeel van de Best Western Group ondersteuning. Daarom heb ik ze liever als het een klein avontuur elke keer is. Ze zijn altijd schoon, maar je krijgt niet de standaard design van Premier Inn. Dus verwacht niet dat. Zoals deze nog steeds geeft je een sleutel bijvoorbeeld. Het bed is zeer comfortabel. De locatie heeft een mooi uitzicht op de velden, maar een paar kamers staan aan de weg zodat u kunt horen auto's van ramen zijn open. De dienst is zeer vriendelijk en echt, hoewel sommige personeelsleden niet ervaren zo fantastisch over het algemeen. Ik had zeer lage verwachtingen van het voedsel als het’s a small hotel, maar de starter ( Panko Broaded Goats Cheese) de hoofd ( Chicken Balmoral - haggis in een kip borst) en dessert (brood en boterpudding) was echt heerlijk en keek geweldig op de Het is het beste diner dat ik heb gehad in zes maanden van zakenreizen. Het was zo goed dat ik bijna de zeevoedsel linguine ook bestellen:) Als u een mixer ervaring met gemiddelde voedsel naar Premier Inn wilt gaan als de bedden zijn meestal zeer comfortabel. Als u een vriendelijke , echte ervaring met fantastische voedsel. Probeer dit hotel."

"Stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding. Had lovely garden room with great views of the surrounding countryside. Whole weekend was fantastic, staff (including Glen) very nice and food delicious. Couldn’t fault breakfast ….. cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, pastries and cooked breakfast too. Would definitely stay again."

"Checked out this morning after a great one night stay. Guests are actively encouraged to enjoy the various seating areas both inside and out. On arrival, we were invited to have a pot of tea in the sunny courtyard. Later we had a thoughtfully prepared evening meal in the lovely dining area. We booked this a week earlier after Morag had emailed to ask our preferences. Breakfast was of equal quality as well being generous. I loved the table settings the art work and the home made bread! The room had good quality bed linen, towels, body wash and coffee tray. Very quiet for sleeping and in a well kept, friendly village. ❤️"
