We were satisfied with the size of the room and the equipment. One point that was not OK is that we had no hot water to shower on Sunday morning at 8:00. This little error we didn't report in the hotel because it had warm water later again."

Het ligt op slechts 5 minuten lopen van het treinstation, iets hoger gelegen, waardoor je zelfs vanuit de zijramen van het hotel een mooi uitzicht op het meer hebt. De moderne ambiance, de vernieuwde faciliteiten, de comfortabele lobby en de snelle wifi maken dit hotel in maart zeker weer aantrekkelijk."

"Een fantastisch verblijf in dit heerlijke hotel van alle gemakken voorzien van spa tot zwembad, een heerlijk grote kamer met een fantastische badkamer, heerlijke beddenen een prachtig uitzicht. Twee voortreffelijke restaurants en een lounch bar. Naast al dat, vooral zeer vriendelijk personeel. Echt een aanrader voor mensen met of zonder kinderen ( waar zelfs in de ontbijt zaal een klein winkeltje was ingericht waar de kinderen hun potjes nutella enzo zelf konden halen of er gewoon in spelen) zelfs onze hond was van harte welkom en werd op zijn wenken bedient (overal bakjes water en lekkser snoepjes). Het hele hotel is rolstoel teogankelijk wat het voor mij heel aangenaam maakte."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Arriving by train in Locarno, it was an easy 10 minute walk to the hotel, which sits adjacent to Lake Maggiore. Our room was spacious, with a well-eqipped kitchenette. The whole hotel - including our room, was spotlessly clean, and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was included in the price and was superb - with a selection of breads, croissants (locally made), local jams, meats and cheese. We ate breakfast outside on the terrace each day which was nice. The swimming pool was great - and again, spotlessly clean. The hotel was very conveniently located, and it was an easy walk into the main town, the furnicular railway, the nearby Locarno Lido, and the boats which ply the lake. The Ticinio Ticket (issued to us by the hotel) gave free travel on all public transport in the Ticino area, and also discounts on various attractions. The local bus and train service was efficient and reliable. We'd recommend catching the ferry to Magadino (20 minutes, and free with the Ticino ticket) where there is a lovely (stoney) beach. The trip on the Furnicular (and the church at the top) was well worth a visit. We caught the Centovalli Train to Domodosolla (over the border in Italy), which passes through stunning landscapes. Travel on this train is free with Ticino ticket as fas as the border with Itally. Another trip was on the 321 bus to the village of Sonogno (again, free with the Ticino ticket). We'd highly recommend this hotel if visiting Locarno."

Erg goede matten, comfortabele zachte hoofden, perfecte leeslampen en voldoende stapelruimte verrast in de smaakvolle slaapkamer. Voor het appartement is een veranda met uitzicht op het mooie binnenhof met palmen en bloeiende planten. Barbara en Urs zijn zeer vriendelijke gastheer en helpen graag met goede aanbevelingen voor een perfect verblijf."
