"Not really situated close by to anything to keep the kids entertained. When we booked in I had booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 kids but they were adamant I was only booked for 2 adults so hadn't got kids beds ready so we had to wait for bed linen and do the kids beds ourselves once I had proven to them with my online booking through app that they were wrong. The room was small, bed linen had rips and holes in the duvet covers, double bed poorly made, curtain rail was broken so could have fallen off onto the children, there were dirty marks all over the walls and splash marks that looked like coffee or worse up the walls, which my partner has taken pics of. The plus in Bath was broken off the chain so couldn't get it out once used so couldn't use shower ect or change bath water, taps didn't work properly. Very noisy throughout night and could hear everyone walking past room at all hrs. They also had mice traps in all communal areas of the hotel in full view, not even tried to hide the fact they had mice in the place which wasn't very pleasing either. We also have evidence that behind mirrors in the room that there could possible be cameras or surveillance equipment of some kind which is not acceptable and is illegal!!! For the price of the room which was over £80 for the 1 night is totally unacceptable and we will not be staying here again at any point. We have photographs to prove all of this also which will be uplaoded"

"Had a great stay here and the newly refurbished restaurant is beautiful chef shaun cooked our steaks spot on and conner the hotel manager was great would definitely stay again."

"Handy for walks in costal path but not much else around. The restaurant next door is very poor and we had major difficulty finding anywhere to eat in the area The hotel is clean, tidy and the staff are great but the place is tired and needs a bit of an uplift."

"We had our wedding at Llwyn Country House in July 2024 and it was absolutely perfect! Marius and his team couldn’t do enough for us, and Steve’s banter and warmth made everything even more special. Since then, we’ve returned again and again for Marius’ amazing Sunday dinners – they’re just as unforgettable as our wedding day. Truly a wonderful team and a beautiful place – we can’t recommend Llwyn Country House enough! 💕"

"Misschien het ergste eten dat ik ooit had. We wachtten 2 uur op ons eten na voorbestelling. We boekten vroeg als jonge kinderen bij ons waren die te moe waren om het eten te eten toen het aankwam. Onze ringen waren ongekokt binnen. Mengsels van grill waren betwistbaar over wat het vlees eigenlijk was de champignon stroganoff was als soep en de gel was water !! Wie kan het mis met gel en ijs ?? Alles ging op verschillende tijdstippen op en toen hij ze vertelde over dit, zei de bediende dat ze slechts één Chef hadden. Toen ze gingen betalen, vergaten ze de £65 storting uit de rekening te nemen en namen de jongen achter de bar om uit te werken wat hij me eigenlijk schuldig was. Vraagde waar de manager was en hij zei dat ze thuis was gegaan, maar ze was er eigenlijk!!"

"Probably the best B & B ever. A great welcome. Beautiful room. Very very clean. Breakfasts perfect. So many lovely places to visit in the area. I highly recommend here. Llandeilo is lovely for a visit but my all time favourite is Amroth which is about an hours drive .A Beautiful unspoilt bay."
