The staff here, particularly, Lena, Anita & Lucy, made our stay 'stand-out' from other hotel stays this past year. They kept the dining room very clean, gave us tips on where to dine, and very helpful in explaining hotel amenities, etc. They were very knowledgeable and courteous to us. They even upgraded us to a bit better room, when we arrived.

Located right on Route 101 North Coast Highway, this Newport hotel provides free Wi-Fi. Fishing, crabbing and clamming at the famous Yaquina Bay are 2 miles away. The non-smoking rooms are conveniently equipped with a microwave, fridge and work desk. Private bathrooms come with a bathtub and hairdryer. Business travellers will appreciate additional conveniences, such as access to a fax service. Newport Inn and Suites is 2 miles from Agate Beach and 2.5 miles from Oregon Coast Aquarium. Showcasing all things strange, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not is a 5-minute drive from this hotel.

I really like this hotel. The environment is great. It is surrounded by ancient trees and is very close to the seaside. The design of the upstairs and downstairs is convenient and warm. The facilities are complete, especially the kitchen is very convenient for cooking.

I had a fabulous stay at this sustainable hotel that incorporates nature into every aspect of the property. I loved using the sauna & pool, the mini market, restaurants & lounging areas in the main building. I enjoyed having coffee on my balcony that overlooked the golf course. My one small complaint was there was some road noise & I hope they put up sound barriers at some point (I could only hear it outside from my balcony which was one of the far buildings, so I'm sure others may not experience this).

There is a hot spring pool facing the sea, the hotel design is good, very like the hustle and bustle. I hope to come back in the summer.

Always a pleasurable experience! Close to the beach, and great view of the lighthousr from most rooms we have stayed. Great location to shopping, but still secluded! The lounge and restaurant are absolutely convenient, even though being a bit expensive. Very nice room and amenities! Needs some upgrading, though it is minor. Will always try to book here when planning a weekend getaway or just a night!

I recommend everyone to read this and stay away from this establishment. I booked a stay with this hotel on 7/29/22 until 7/30/22. Was driving into town and needed a place to stay so I use my Chase travel card in order to book this stay. When I got there with my family, I was able to get into my room, which was room 313 on the third floor. Only issue was, I found hanging old underwear from the previous guest in the bathroom. I got a picture and took it up to the front desk person, Maliyah. She didn’t believe me at first until I showed her the picture and she had a nasty attitude, making it seem like it was a hassle to deal with. She told me she did not have any extra rooms and I told her there had to be something she could do. She then said “oh I have another room” and booked me for another room on the first floor right next to the elevator. I thanked her and went into the room. This time however, the room still had garbage in trash bags on the floor as well as a dirty towel next to it. It occurred to me that this room had not been cleaned yet. I went right out and told her the problem. She told me to “wait a moment” and called her manager and expressed frustration that the house cleaning crew had not clean any of the two rooms she had offered me. She continued to have the worst attitude and instead of assisting me in figuring out the situation, told me to wait and moved on to the next guest with no action on her end. I went outside to discuss with my family and we decided to cancel, ask for a refund, and go somewhere else due to the service we received. I went inside and asked to cancel the room and for a refund only for her to tell me that since it was booked through Expedia, I had to take it up to them. I went back outside and called the Chase travel center since they booked my room and had a specialist on the phone who told me that they would contact Expedia but I had to formally go back and ask her to check out. I went back in and Maliyah had started to raise her voice at me and my family, yelling “I cannot check you out until 4am because of audits”. The specialist on the phone was also on speaker and said that it made no sense and that if I wanted to check out, I was given the right to check out regardless of an audit or not. Maliyah then yelled that I could get my bags and get out. The entire time I never matched my tone with hers and stayed calm. The travel specialist I had on the phone had the phone call recorded and heard her aggressiveness and impoliteness towards us. As we left the hotel, the specialist told us she would document everything down and bring it up to Expedia. Expedia would then have to contact the hotel and then the hotel would have to issue the refund. I was told to call the travel agency for updates. From there I found a room at a different hotel, unpacked my stuff, and called back for an update, only to be told that the hotel rejected my request for a refund because “a manager wasn’t there”. Great breakfast. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Great for couples or families.

The hotel is very good, we set the day is mid-week, almost half cheaper than the weekend. All rooms in the hotel are sea view, there are outdoor tables and chairs on the first floor, but there is a glass fence on the beach, and you can walk to a nearby road. The indoor gym is also a great experience to see the beach and the sea directly. The beach or the sea can be seen directly from the guest room or balcony. The seabirds fly in front of them, and the sunset glows into the morning glow and the evening glow is directly spread out in front of us. The hotel offers free snacks in the lobby twice a day, creamy seafood soup at 5pm, soft cookies at 8pm, and lots of people to eat. This hotel is a bit worried about hardware and software because it is not a hotel chain. After checking in, it was found that this is the most cost-effective hotel for our trip. The decoration is tasteful, the service is good, and the view is excellent.

Siletz Bay is the place to be in Lincoln City! The hotel has the best of both worlds the bay and the ocean which I included a photo of. I would recommend you book directly through the hotel with Melissa so you get exactly what you want. I enjoyed eating breakfast everymorning with the most beautiful view!
