Ramada by Wyndham Leeds East

Very convenient , 24 hrs McDonald is another good point.  Environment is good

The hotel it's self was brilliant and the location was fab . Got late check out witch again was great but the cleaning was not great BUT I did talk to the lady in the morning and she asked for the photos and flagged it straight away. This lady was fantastic but didn't get her name . The bed sheets where ALL inside out and the bottom sheet was not big enough so there was a 4" gap at the top of the bed witch was mattress protecter, this had a dirty mark on it that looked like blood . The whole room was dusty and the spoons for the cups where dirty and it looked like it had not been hooved . I didn't want to course a fuss as me and my daughter had a brilliant night and I didn't want to spoil it . It was flagged with management so I'm hoping they get in touch with me regarding this situation as obviously I did pay for a clean room .

I stayed for one night before attending an event at Leeds Skelton Lake Services and was genuinely pleasantly surprised by how well everything worked. For £84 on a room-only rate, I had a ground-floor accessible room with plenty of space to manoeuvre and a large accessible bathroom. The check-in desk was at an accessible height, and the desk, coffee-making facilities and everything I needed in the room were within easy reach. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, opening doors when needed and even bringing drinks through from the bar. I ate in the restaurant that evening, which was spacious, relaxed and not too busy. There was a good choice of food and drinks, my meal was lovely, and room service was available too. A little more clearance beside the bed would help anyone needing a right-hand wheelchair transfer, and the bathroom did have a shower curtain, but overall this was a comfortable, convenient and very good-value stay. I’d happily return.

lovely hotel in a brilliant location for Leeds and york. beautiful reception area with very helpful friendly staff, there was a tech issue when checking in but the staff dealt with this very calm and professional. the room was lovely, spotlessly clean, plenty of tea and coffee.

Lovely hotel, stayed for a night with the family. Lady at the reception (didn’t get her name)was so nice as we were not able to order breakfast as the app was not working, had to go next door and get some food and she let us sit inside to have our meal before heading out. Will highly recommend this hotel.

I was very pleasantly surprised by both the condition and the facilities at the hotel. Being in a service area, I expected a much poorer place, but it was top notch. The WiFi was fast, both for downloads and uploads (the latter being important for my work). Everywhere was spotless, and the air con worked perfectly (great in the very hot weather). The think that probably impressed me just was the fact that parking was free. That’s pretty rare in a service area these days. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, and everything worked well. I couldn’t have asked for better and, if I’m in the area again working, it will be top of my list for a place to lay my head.

The receptionist who was a long tall lady was very rude and irresponsible. I was given a room with disables bathroom and I asked her to change it but she said this is what it is. She didn't even try to change my room. I also asked her to refill my shampoo and body wash, they had left a bottle in the bathroom and I refilled it. That was crazy!

Did the job, low cost but all feels a bit run down. Room didn’t feel clean and fresh. Not very professional service - waiting at empty desk then unsure on whether parking validated or not.

Not bad for. The price a little tatty in places and the hall carpets need replacing
