Hotels in Kunming Changshui International Airport, Kunming

Hotel was 15-20min ride away from the airport, not as close as I expected it to be. But they have free hotel shuttle to pick you to and fro the airport which is good. But bad thing is you will need to share the transport with other travellers and if they are late, you’ll have to wait for them. Room was spacious and relatively clean. However, we travelled in Jan and it was soooo cold even after turning on the heating in the room. The room’s heating has to be improved. It was even colder than the rooms we stayed in Harbin.

Breakfast serves from 7:30AM and food is delicious with variety of options. Hotel staff is very courteous and attentive and I’ll definitely be back.

Verder is alles geweldig!

Excellent hotel service from from desk to housekeeper. Clean and cozy room, free airport pickup was easy to arrange, free gift upon check in was warm, free night snacks beyond my expectation. The female front desk receptionist very helpful and patiently to solve all my queries as a foreigner. Thumbs up to this hotel👏👏👏

The hotel is located about 2 - 3 km from the Kunming airport but quite far from the Kunming city area (about 30 minutes by taxi). It is convenient for travelers who are transiting through Kunming. Hotel look quite new and well maintained and service is great as well. There are a few small restaurants next to the hotel. The hotel western restaurant is open till quite late, but food selection is limited. Room service is also available. The hotel provides free car shuttle service to the airport, but must be booked in advance. The earliest available booking is at 5:00am.

This hotel is conveniently located near the airport, with a large parking lot and a great environment. The facilities are comprehensive, and the decor is high-end and luxurious, complete with smart home controls throughout the room. The bed is very comfortable, and there's a laundry room that even provides various cleaning supplies for washing – truly thoughtful! The proprietress is super nice, and the tea she brewed was incredibly fragrant. It was a wonderful stay, and I'll definitely be back.

The hotel is very close to the airport, just a five or six-minute drive away. It's incredibly convenient for travel, and they even offer complimentary airport shuttle service. They can also pick up/drop off at the subway station in front of the airport. The rooms are clean and tidy, with a good wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The environment is comfortable and pleasant, the facilities are convenient, and the staff are warm and attentive. I always stay here whenever I have a layover.

We chose this Atour hotel as we needed to arrive at the airport by 5ish the next morning. The Front Desk staff were very helpful, especially the young gentleman whom we later found out was the Manager. He helped us with our luggage from the car and checked us in. We had some problem with the internet connection and he promptly fixed it. He also arranged for the shuttle bus to take us to the airport the next morning. I guess the staff were helpful and friendly as their Manager has set the best example. We recommended this hotel to our friend, who was leaving the next day and will not hesitate to recommend it to other travellers. For the price, this hotel is very good value for its proximity to the airport, hotel amenities and good service. We were recommended to eat at a local Yunnan native restaurant by the hotel and it was a good recommendation. We feel that the Hotel Manager is an asset to this establishment as he is unassuming, polite and gets things done. 👍 Thank you for a nice stay.,
