The location of this home stay is absolutely first class. It has excellent view, especially for sunrise. IT’s environment is quiet and relaxing. It is definitely for easy holidays goers, especially for family. Friendly reception and staff. The short coming is the restaurant that only open from Thursday to Sunday and only catering breakfast when you have a ten pax staying. Sound odd, but this fact made much inconvenient for visitors that have no transportation. They have interesting amenities such as beach buggies, but visitors need to find out from the reception or when you check in.

Featuring a garden, Friendly Hotel is located in Kudat in the Sabah region, 2 km from Kudat Airport and 3.4 km from Kudat. With free WiFi, this 2-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and room service. The hotel features family rooms. At the hotel, each room is fitted with a desk. Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a bidet and slippers, guest rooms at Friendly Hotel have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and selected rooms are equipped with a seating area. At the accommodation each room comes with bed linen and towels. Pangaraban is 5.2 km from Friendly Hotel, while Batu Puteh is 15 km away. The nearest airport is Kudat Airport, 2 km from the hotel.

Kudat Riviera is a little heaven on earth. We booked the sunbeam house and our friends stayed at a bigger house right at the beach. Everything is designed and built with a lot of taste and style, the private pools are beautiful and the service is great, really friendly. We were lucky and had wonderful weather so that we could enjoy the beach which was only used by us. The water is quite shallow so it was perfect for the kids. We also had the seafood barbecue and it was delicious. We can recommend Kudat riviera very much.

Just to inform that you will be charged RM30 per head for additional guest. But you may request for additional bed. - The only thing that i like about the hotel is the receptionist. Others are bad. The fridge was smelly and not cold.

On our way to Cabana Retreat, we saw a couple of cows at the roadside. Since I wanted to take some photos, my friend made a U-turn so that I could capture a few. One cow was a shade of white & it looked quite tame & docile. The road leading to our retreat was very quiet. We hardly saw any cars & passed a jetty signboard. We arrived at 3:00 pm & managed to park our rented car near the Resort’s entrance. I went straight to the Front desk to check-in & to get our keys to our quad-tent. Thankfully, our quad-tent was located near to the common bathroom. We had chosen a quad-tent because the 4 of us wanted to have a glamping experience together. Unfortunately, one friend had to leave. Thus, there was 1 empty mattress on a wooden pallet which we had used to put all our food. Although the quad-tent was compact, it came equipped with an air-cooler, a standing fan, a small wooden table & chair, a wicker basket that was used as a wastepaper basket, a long mirror & a small area to hang our clothes. There was also a steel shoe rack. Throw pillows were given on each bed. The sheets & blankets were of hotel quality while the mattress was comfortable enough though I could still feel the wooden pallets underneath it all. The material covering our tents was of high quality too & we had double tent zippers for safety & protection. Our 2-day package came with free activities on the beach. Unfortunately, the staff was not available to teach us to handle the paddleboat. Hence, we had to forgo the non-motorised activities. My 2 friends decided to rest in the tent but I decided to walk on the beach. Strangely enough, I saw many cows on the beach! They were going for the waves. As it was starting to drizzle, I left the beach & headed back to the tent. Our package also included a Firefly experience on our 1st night. However, we had to drive to the jetty ourselves. When we arrived, we mentioned the name of our Hotel & were given admittance into the boat. The host, a middle-aged man told us to be quiet while he summoned the fireflies to our direction. It was such an awesome magical experience when the fireflies started appearing before your very eyes. Even if it’s not in the package, please make sure that you go for this activity. The next morning, we had breakfast at the Coffee House as it was included in the package. We were given a selection to choose from, either American or local meals. They were freshly made & tasty. The scenery was of the beach. There were also a few swings for guests to enjoy on underneath a roof. Outdoor tables, chairs & benches were provided on the beach where guests could enjoy their breakfast with the sand underneath their feet. There were many cats & dogs around the vicinity. Most probably they were strays. We saw a rooster trying to chase away a mangy dog. Throughout our stay, we would buy some food & feed the cats, dogs & rooster. In short, all meals – breakfast, lunch & dinner were at the Coffee House. We didn’t feel a need to

The first overseas hotel evaluation, dedicated to Dolphin Island Resort🐬 I promised my children to take them abroad once before they go to elementary school, and I can’t break my promise. I chose Kota Kinabalu as the destination, and I can watch the sea, dig sand, snorkel and watch fish, which my children love. When choosing a hotel, I chose a phobia outbreak. I hesitated for a long time. I trusted my intuition and chose this hotel. The fact is that it is really delicious! highly recommended! After the reservation, the staff contacted me and added WeChat, and the various precautions were very clear. After check-in, every staff member is very nice, it can be said that they are responsive to every request. Eat, live and play in a few days, everything is quite satisfactory. There is a local lady named Snowman among the staff who can speak Chinese! There is also a handsome guy who can't speak Chinese, that's the one in picture 2. He is very careful with the children, and he keeps teaching our babies to swim and snorkel, which is touching... There are performances at night, which are very lively. When leaving, the child said that he would like to come here next time.

Tampat do Aman is conveniently located in the popular Sulu Sea area. Offering a variety of facilities and services, the property provides all you need for a good night's sleep. Guestrooms are designed to provide an optimal level of comfort with welcoming decor and some offering convenient amenities like clothes rack, linens, towels, wooden/parqueted flooring, fan. The property offers various recreational opportunities. Friendly staff, great facilities, and close proximity to all that Kudat has to offer are three great reasons you should stay at Tampat do Aman.

This is one accommodation that my research doesn't prepare me for what to expect. My first impression was that the place catered to foreign tourists only. As they had yet to return after the lifting of Covid restrictions, the facilities and service had been allowed to deteriorate. Which was a pity as I liked the views of sunrise from this property. So, here are the minuses: 1. Lots of flies and mosquitoes throughout the day 2. Too far from anywhere, even the beach, which was across the road and didn't appear suitable for swimming. To go anywhere, expect to pay for a round trip of at least RM40 which is to town. Diyana, the manager, offered to arrange for takeaway meals with a payment of about RM10. 3. Private car transport from /to KK cost RM300, rather expensive compared to catching a taxi from Kudat town. 4. Overall, facilities and service were spartan. I'd hoped that breakfast would include local fruit at least. Many guests would not be used to the no-toilet tissue paper practice. The front door needed TLC - the concern was entry of mosquitoes, although netting over the bed was provided. I would not recommend my friends to stay here.
