Redang Island resort was one of the first resorts in Redang and has a great view on the hill overlooking the main harbour / port. Whilst not directly on the beach it does offer morning snorkel trips (10am to 1) and an evening transfer to long beach for dinner options (6-10pm), both of which should be taken up since the highlight of Redang is its snorkelling and beach vibe. Dinner at RIR was not great with an uncooked fish and chips (also missing the lemon noted in the menu as there was none in stock) whilst the beef burger was not great. Maintainace is clearly an ongoing issue with the room having problems with its shower & hot water whilst the pool was not fit for swimming (irrespective of the snake we saw both mornings by the loungers!). On the more positive side the transfers were well managed whilst the staff were keen to help albeit constrained by what they could actually do Rooms on the sea side are significantly better than the forest side given views and light. Rating is a generous average (3stars) but it deserves better than poor (2stars)

Amazing. Highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely go back at some point and can’t wait. It was heaven on earth. The views, the beach the sea are worth every Penny. Absolutely amazing. But the staff are wonderful. So friendly, helpful and kind. Everyone of them. The rooms are brilliant. Nice and fresh and clean, Amazing size. Great design a vibe to the whole place. Just came back from LanG Tengah for 3D2N. We were group of 3 staying at D'coconut Lagoon (west wing). The Island - there are only 4 hotels at the island and not all at the same beach. When you reached the island you will be seeing crystal clear water. D'coconut is situated at the other side of the island and you can walk (through the jungle - 5 mins walking) to visit the other resorts / beach. If you want to see baby sharks at night, head to Sari Pacifica's jetty ;) The hospitality - Mr Anuar greeted us upon arriving at the hotel lobby and the staff will helped you with your bags and luggage. The check in process was okay and Mr Anuar will give a short briefing on rules of the hotel and itinerary. The staffs there were very friendly and helpful. The room - we stayed in Cabana rooms. You can see the beach directly from your balcony. We purposely choose this room just for the view. Unfortunately, D'coconut should really pay attention to cleanliness of their resort. Our room was not entirely 'okay' with the price we paid. The bed was so sandy even under the duvet :/ The toilet did not cleaned properly. I think they do not have dedicated housekeepers to take care of the rooms. So we only used the room to sleep at night. The rest of the time, we spent our time outside. The food - they served buffet for all meal with limited choice. However, the food were incredibly delicious! Kudos to the chef and team. Your dining area will be facing the beach, something that you will be misisng once you are back. The beach - since the west wing of the resort only has limited number of rooms, you will hardly see people at the beach. As if you are at the private island. And the beach was so breezy and you will not be sweating because of the breeziness unlike like the other side of the island. You can also kayak if you want. The experience- on our first night, we were lucky we get to see the turtle laying 136 eggs. Tell Mr Anuar to inform you if there is a turtle coming to the island! At lang tengah it is a perfect place for stargazing and seeing blue tears along the beach. Ask the staff to show you around :) You wil get complimentary of 2 snorkeling trips together with the package you signed up. They will also bring you to see the baby sharks near the beach at the summer bay resort. Overall, we had the best time in Lang Tengah. Although it is a small island but you will get a handful of experience throughout your stay. If you are looking for a peaceful and serenity, you should definitely come here. From Redang, Pulau Perhentian this is by far the best island I have experienced.

I had a nice one night stay here. The staff were very helpful and assisted me in explaining how to get to the island from Marina Duyong and I was also able to buy my return ticket from reception which was helpful. In addition, they allowed me to pay for all meals through online transfer, which I was grateful for as I hadn’t brought cash. Travel to and from the resort to the jetty was available for an extra RM20. The food was good - I had the scrambled eggs, pancakes, Chinese fried rice and nasi goreng ayam. The room had everything I needed and was clean. There was a public beach around 10-15 minute walk from the resort and it was very quiet but stunning. I was a little bit unlucky with the weather as it rained more or less the entire time I was there apart from on the morning I left where I managed to grab some photos.

Sari pacifica review Worst experience ever Price: too expensive for this kind of service. I’ve experience better service and facility with a cheaper price. You would think that with a pricey packaged, the service would be good right? NO Facility: no water for guest, but can switch on fountain and swimming pool. And got water for staff quarters. Food: some are tasteless and bland, some are too salty. No in between one. We rather go out to buy lunch dinner rather eat their food. Staff: Worst front desk staff that they can hire. Im surprised their management hire this kind of people. No hospitality, no manner, no common sense. You should do a re-organisation. No critical thinking, dont know how to handle crisis. Overal experience: Check in and room situation: We arrived at the resort at around 11am. And during the check in, the staff there mention that our room is yet to be ready (and informed that the check in time is actually 3pm) , and they said that they *will inform us by calling my number when the room is ready*. After that, we keep asking them the room status every hour. At our 2nd time asking, they mentioned that there is some maintenance issue that they need to attend to our room, and its not yet ready. So we waited. We waited until 2.30pm, and decided to ask them the room status. And when we asked them for an update at 2.30pm, only they informed us that our room is actually leaking and the maintenance not able to fix it. So they offer us a 2 separate double room (we booked a quad sharing instead of double sharing), they didnt really give us and option, we need to take it because we have been staying outside for almost 4 hours. But even though they offered 2 room, only 1 room is ready, and another room will only be ready at 4 (be mind that the check in time is at 3pm). They didnt even have the courtesy to do as what they say (which is to call me when there is a room or an update about our room), they didnt call me to say oh we have a room ready. So if i didnt go and ask, they will just let us sleep under the sun, in our travel clothing until the sun is set?? 2nd day lunch situation: They refused us our lunch on the second day because quote “oh we will not provide the lunch of the people that go for snorkelling because we have prepared it at Sari Pacifica Lang Tengah. We have prepared the lunch at Sari Pacifica Redang for the exact number of pax that didnt go for snorkelling trip”. Please note ah, the lunch was in a buffet (self service), so how can a 4 person eat until finished everything? At 9.20am the same morning, i already informed the snorkelling centre guy that our group will not join for lunch. And also at 12pm, just before lunch, we took our new room key Winnie, the front desk manager also aware that we didnt go for snorkelling trip. And when we make a complaint through our agent, they defended that we need to inform them (front desk) if we dont want to go for snorkelling. But their management also said that, the snorkellin

The hotel prices in Laguna Beach are relatively more expensive. After all, this is the most representative long beach in Redang Island. The snorkeling spots are relatively concentrated, and it is also the most lively area in Redang Island. Seven days and six nights in Redang Island, the third and fourth nights stayed here, which was also the hotel with the worst experience. The hardware is not as good as the price of Redang Island Resort, especially the toilet, the water storage system is not tight, so the noise at night is relatively large and affects the rest. Although I contacted the staff three times to make adjustments, but still did not solve it. Although breakfast is included, breakfast is what the third picture looks like. The advantage is that the location is very good, 30 meters away from Long beach, the attitude of the waiters are very good. Each room is divided into upper and lower floors and can accommodate up to five people, suitable for poor travel. However, climbing up is more difficult, and the upper partition is lower. The upper sleeper is always worried about turning over and falling down at night.

Booked the premium sea view suite at Coral View Resort for our family holiday and had one of the most enjoyable and memorable stays there. We are a family of 3 adults and 3 children, and therefore, safety and comfort are of top priority. The walk from jetty is quite a distance away, and if you're carrying heavy luggage, this will be a big challenge as there was no paved walkway or dedicated path other than on sandy beach itself. Luckily, we decided to leave the luggage and travelled using backpacks. Resort staff were friendly and helpful, once we gotnour keys, the staffs actually carried all our backpacks to the room. The room was excellent and comfortable for us, especially our kids who loved the indoor pool and wooden swing. The only grouses we had were that the light switches were plentiful and would be good if theres labels. Food during dinner was superb as we had fresh seafood. Breakfast was disappointing, though, and we ended up going to the nearby resort, The Barat and Mama Chalet, for food. Shops were plenty, and you could stock up on your mineral water and snacks to curb the hunger pangs. Overall, it is a great place to stay with family with fairly good facilities such as a nearby water theme park, a definite must for kids! Will consider coming again!

”Sari Pacifica” a brand that USED TO instill so much confidence and standard in the past, has now succeeded TREMENDOUSLY into throwing my expectations into the mud. My 4 days 3 nights stay with my friends and family during the end of March 2022 has made us questioned, whether this is truly the ”Sari Pacifica” we used to know, or did we accidentally checked into a BOGUS hotel in Redang? Mind you, we stayed at the apparently the best option it has to offer, the SEA VIEW Villa. The only FACTOR that allows this ”resort” to have a 2-star rating from me is PURELY AND ONLY because of the friendliness of their staff members, who despite limited in their capacity, tried their best to help us in overcoming the shortcomings of the ”resort”. Upon arrival at Pulau Redang, while other hotel operators have provided staffs to wait and help their guests to carry their baggage into the truck, we were standing BLUR on where we should be going for a while. The 1 and ONLY 1 staff who was waiting for the 20 of us, was only able to help us carry 1 or MAXIMUM 2 rounds of our baggage with his 2 hands. We could only watch with ENVY, the guests of other hotel operators, as me and my wife carried our 1 year old girl under the hot island weather, for no less than 30 minutes, while the staff sent the first 10 of my friends to the resort and then came back for the rest of us. If the definition of a Villa is that of its size. Then KUDOS to ”Sari Pacifica” for indeed, the Sea View Villa is huge in its size. But my friends and family as Guests... did not appreciate such a BIG, yet Sandy floor, stained blankets and bed sheets. The en-suite toilet is HUGE with a bathtub that we did not dare to use. I agree though, the view from the Villa is as good as it gets in Pulau Redang. The aircond in my first villa was not working well, and I managed to shift to another room the next night. The food, while I truly did not expect much, having stayed in Redang a few times over a few different resorts, and YET it fell far below my ALREADY low expectation. The first night, we were served grilled BBQ without lights and fans at our tables. Can you imagine? After feedback, the next day onward we were given permanent table position under a WORKING CEILING Fan. There were only 2 or 3 in the entire eating area. You have to feel bad for people who were not so fortunate. A special credit for the F&B manager who tried to make up as best as he could to us, and prepared a steamboat dinner for us on the last night. Overall: Staff: 5 Stars Cleanliness: 2 Stars Value: 0 Star. We paid RM1200 per person for 4 days 3 nights for those staying at Sea View Villa. You can judge for yourself if based on what we have experienced the good and the bad, whether it was value for money. Recommendation: Food: Pelangi resort has good western food in my opinion. Cleanliness: Coral Redang, Pelangi Resort, Redang Beach, Laguna Redang. Value: Anywhere but Sari Pacifica Redang
