優點：服務好，早晚餐自助非常豐富，環境優美，酒店外的海灘很棒。
缺點：房間有點陳舊。

we waren al wat weken in srilanka toen we bij het bentota hotel aankwamen het hotel ligt precies langs het mooie strand waar veel ruimte is om lekker te liggen zonder dat je langs andere hoeft te liggen. de kamers waren wel wat kleiner op het moment dat we dit aangaven kregen we perdirect een andere kamer met uitzicht op zee zonder daar extra voor te hoeven bij te betalen. het personeel is zeer lief en meedenkend. en doen echt alles voor je wanneer je hier om vraagt. met 1 woord geweldig hotel en zeker een aanrader ook dichtbij bij supermarkten en winkeltjes waar je dingen kan kopen en ook een geweldig plekje en dicht bij de baby schildpadjes die je kan bevrijden en de zee in kan laten gaan !!!!!

It was a delightful week long holiday we had at the Taj Bentota, in the last week of May 2024. From checkin to checkout, the hospitality of the Taj was as expected and made our stay super enjoyable and comfortable! Special thanks to Mr Sibi Matthew and Mr Mahinda for their gracious help and hospitality. The staff we would like to thank specially include: 1. Maduka FandB, Amila, Sam breakfast, Rashmika Palms restaurant 2. Sanath housekeeping 3. Asiri and Lakmal at the Tease bar 4. Chef Dalip - amazing treats specially the kheer 5. Manchanayaka and Chef Kumudu Lakshman at the Shack for the lip smacking seafood and desserts too 6. Bimal and Sewwandi 7. Chef Piyush 8. Friday night Dj at tease on 31 May 9. Sax player on three weekdays 10. All the staff at the hotel whose smiles and helpful nature made our stay pleasant and memorable 11. Hired car driver Shirley who was very helpful and always smiling The Taj Group excels in hospitality. The resort at Bentota is very picturesquely placed and the beach is super amazing. Thank you so much for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay!

We are repeat guests at this hotel, and hadn't been for 10 years, and was pleased to still experience the Taj hospitality we had previously enjoyed. It was lovely to reacquaint ourselves with staff from previous visits, who went out of their way, to look after us. Special thank you to Lalith Tharupathi, for ensuring all our needs were met. Special thanks to Disanayaka in the Palms Restaurant, who served us in the evenings, and went out of his way, to keep us topped up with water and attentive service, and for the lovely flower vase he did on last evening and goodbye cake. Special thanks to Sam from Palms who always had orange juice waiting and kept us supplied with teas and coffee, and happy andattentive service. The rest of staff also first class including room boys who made amazing towel art and cleaned room to high standards. Thanks to hotel manager for a Special time lighting lanterns on Poya Day, it was really enjoyable and to send photos for lovely memories. The food in the Palms was wonderful, both breakfast and dinner. The coffees in Tease weren't always hot, and weak on occasions. But otherwise, a nice place. The Taj will always be my choice of hotel when in Bentota.

Over Experience was ok. The quality & Interiors of rooms doesn't seems to be like Taj as we see at other TAJ Hotels and Resorts in India. Needs upgrade of rooms interiors overall. Location of Property is very good with Natural Beach view but rooms were not as we see in Taj Hotels in India. The Bathrooms, WC need upgrade as per the Brand TAJ should be there. Nevertheless, I am extremely happy with food quality provided and specially Indian Veg Food provided by Chef Daljit Singh. He was very helpful and provided delicious food through out our stay. He is the best cook available there.

What an amazing experience. Made all the better by the service from the team .special thanks to Chef Dilip for the amazing food he prepares and Sam our ever helpful restaurant guide and server .Our room each day had spectacular towel art and almost telepathic service of the room - thank you Samen . I don't often name members of the hotel team when I stay somewhere . That rule I break due to the spectacular level of service at this establishment. A location I can only recommend for an anniversary holiday .

This is a beautiful hotel and resort. All staff are helpful and engaging. We celebrated my wife’s birthday with superb seafood at The Shack. We leave with many wonderful memories that we’ll always treasure. If I have a tiny helpful hint, the background music in The Palms restaurant can be a little much.
