"Tijdens onze groepsrondreis verbleven we hier 2 nachten in dit hotel. Een heel mooi hotel dat opgebouwd is uit grote houten balken en heeft glas-in-lood ramen. En het hotel ligt op loopafstand van Knysna Waterfront winkelcomplex met vele restaurants en de haven. We kregen een kamer met 2 goede bedden en met goede douche. Het heeft een goed dinerbuffet. Het ontbijt was ook lekker. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam."

"We have stayed here for three years in a row and each year we have increased our stay duration by a day. We now stay for four days and thoroughly enjoy the set up at the Lofts. All you need in terms of drinks and food are on hand in the hotel however there is a real openness to have the same at outlets in the immediate vicinity. This is largely achieved by the architecture of the historic building. Each time we arrive we find a new innovation: this years supply of bottles of Corona for sundown was much appreciated!"

"After staying at disappointing lodgings in Montagu the previous 2 nights we almost cried with joy when we arrived here. Lovely gardens, a spacious and comfortable room and very friendly staff. We dined at the restaurant both nights and enjoyed the experience along with the service. Only negative is that our room (8) did have a bit of road noise in the mornings so try and avoid that side if possible. Putting that aside we would certainly stay here again if visiting Knysna"

"Het South Villa Guest House was een fantastische ervaring tijdens onze reis door Zuid-Afrika. Kamer 1 biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de lagune van Knysna. Achter het huis ligt een fraai aangelegde tuin met ligstoelen voor de gasten, waar je kunt genieten van de mooie planten en het heerlijke gezang van de vogels. Er is ook een gezellige lounge met een groot balkon, dat eveneens een geweldig uitzicht op de lagune biedt. Het ontbijt, dat zo attent op ons balkon werd geserveerd, verdient een speciale vermelding. Er waren zoveel attente details, net als in de kamer zelf (bijvoorbeeld badjassen, een koffie-/theebar, een volledig uitgeruste badkamer, een föhn, enz.). De zeer warme en gastvrije service van Christa en Hentie, met hun vele behulpzame tips en aanbevelingen voor ons verblijf in Knysna, was een ander hoogtepunt. We willen hen nogmaals hartelijk bedanken."
