A wonderful summer vacation at the hotel. We were very lucky with the changeable Latvian weather. We ordered a suite. We were pleasantly surprised - a huge terrace with sun beds for relaxation. Also in the room there is a kitchen with a dishwasher (the first time I saw this) and a large number of plates and glasses and other kitchen utensils. I was very pleased with the cleanly cleaned room and the excellent attitude of the staff. Relaxing at the spa is a large swimming pool where you can swim perfectly.It is to swim for pleasure. The pool has three lanes of about 25 meters. And two baths. There is also a small outdoor pool and sun beds. It was a wonderful weekend. thanks

Visited Jurmala SPA several years ago and many things has changed a little bit. For example, information about parking and area tax was unclear. Earlier it was possible to park in the front of hotel. The first day I was told that there is no parking at all (by hotel). Next day they said that yes there is (for separate cost, not available for all customers but many places anyway). ii is possible that I visit there again, because the place if very good anyway.

The hotel is very welcoming and clean. The rooms are comfortable and we had a nice stay. The breakfast is really good, you cannot get enough of all the goodies. Also, the hotel is close to the bus station and you can reach a mall or the city center very quickly! The only minus was the noise from the main road which troubled our sleep in the morning! Maybe ask for a room which is not close to the road :)

The hotel is really friendly to the Poles and many of them decide to stay in it. The hotel itself is very pleasant, although it is certainly not perfect. Its advantages: very close to the sea and beach, quite a large choice for breakfast, spacious and large rooms and for a family of 4-person two-level, nice reception service, good location in general (2 bus stops to the center of Jurmal, you can walk to the train and underneath the hotel there is a bus stop). Minuses: total parking lack and you need to search and combine parking spaces every time. The hotel itself is all over the street. Breakfasts are very monotonous, for warm food practically uneatable, no salads, forever the same jars. Very large minus for cleaning, and in fact for its lack. Emptying the trash basket once a day and adding 2 towels do not count as cleaning. I have not heard the vacuum cleaner throughout our stay, and at the very beginning after receiving the room, it was not vacuumed enough unfortunately. The cleaning is definitely a cramp. There is a daily purchase of 2 euros (which applies to all hotels). Overall, the hotel is nice and well located, but still a wide area to improve.

The breakfast is very good. Just by the river, I went out and the bridge was a very nice old town. It was very suitable for the photo on the shore. The room was not too big but the bed was very comfortable. The weather was too cold.

Terrific overall experience at the Riga Metropole Hotel. My brother and I stayed 6 nights-- we enjoyed the visit, especially the Hotel. Physical facility was smart, well appointed and very clean! Staff was friendly, efficient and most hospitable. Location is convenient to all of Old Town. Breakfast was outstanding...over the top...so plentiful, almost no need for lunch. Room rate was very fair for overall value received. GM was engaged and seemed to be every-where.... Definitely would stay at the Metropole again and again.

We visited Riga and stayed here for 2 nights. I had modest expectations for this hotel given the price. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff are extremely friendly, and even remembered me by name which was a very nice personal touch. The reception area is nicely decorated, clean and modern. The room was clean, modern, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a little dated, but it was only a minor point. The hair dryer however couldn't blow away a cobweb, so bring your own! Breakfast was included and was very nice. There is a nice buffet selection of hot and cold breakfast items, different fruit and a variety of hot and cold drinks. A small point to note is the hotel is located on the west of the river, which is quite a long way into the old town or Riga city centre. However, there is a tram and a bus stop right outside the hotel, so as long as you don't mind using the public transport in and out of the town centre, you'll be fine. It only takes a few minutes anyway! Check out is at 1200 but they happily obliged when I requested a later one at 1300. I have no complaints about this place and I feel the value for money was justified. I would definitely stay again if I returned to Riga. Well done Bellevue Park!
