"Ik ga elk jaar terug naar Meicheng om mijn voorouders te vereren en heb in veel hotels van allerlei groottes verbleven. Deze keer ben ik zeer tevreden over de Zhenhu B&B die ik geboekt heb. Het hotel ligt op een goede locatie, direct aan het Oostmeer en naast de Yudai-rivier. Het is erg prettig om 's ochtends vanaf het balkon van het uitzicht te genieten. In tegenstelling tot de lawaaierige B&B's aan de hoofdstraat, is Zhenhu rustig te midden van alle drukte. Het is heel dichtbij om uit eten te gaan, te winkelen en naar de dam te gaan. De eigenaresse is zeer elegant en verwelkomt je elke dag met een glimlach. Het ontbijt in het hotel is erg goed, de pap is geurig en smeuïg, en de tofu- en vleesbroodjes zijn heerlijk. De hotelkamer is ruim, het bed is comfortabel en de badkamer is gescheiden in een droge en natte ruimte. Ik blijf hier zeker de volgende keer dat ik naar Meicheng ga."

"Dit verblijf was een perfecte ervaring. Het personeel bij de receptie was ongelooflijk gastvrij, butler Lin Xiao verleende gedurende ons hele verblijf attente service en de onderhoudsmedewerkers waren ook erg vriendelijk en begroetten ons telkens als we ze tegenkwamen. Ze besteedden veel aandacht aan details. Ik wil vooral de kamer prijzen: deze was behoorlijk ruim, de badkamer had een driedelige indeling, de douche had een krachtige waterdruk waardoor douchen ongelooflijk comfortabel was, en de geluidsisolatie was uitstekend. Zelfs met de hevige regen van de afgelopen twee dagen hoorden we niets met de deuren en ramen gesloten. Het ontbijt was goed; hoewel niet zo gevarieerd als in een vijfsterrenhotel, was er toch een goede selectie met een ruime keuze aan fruit. Ik heb zelfs grote bosbessen en tofu-broodjes gegeten!"

"The hotel is new and very clean. It's fully equipped with smart toilets, sensor night lights, and a mini-fridge. The laundry room has commercial-grade LG washer and dryer machines; my clothes were dry in just 20 minutes on a medium setting. Right outside on the first floor is the Xin'an River Green Way, where you can see egrets flying over the river in the early morning. The Xin'an River is especially beautiful at sunset, so I highly recommend booking a river view room. There's also a restaurant called "Songlin Bieyuan" on the first floor, which offers great food at reasonable prices."

The app is actually pretty good and improves operational efficiency. The stream water was quite yellow though, otherwise, it would have been perfect! There was also a very rude woman while we were swimming; to save money, she didn't buy a swim cap for her child and ignored the staff's warnings, insisting on getting into the water... The hotel should blacklist people like that."

"The hotel is very beautiful and quiet, and the service is also very good. After booking the room, someone will call you to confirm the basic itinerary. One day before check-in, someone will add you on WeChat to communicate. My housekeeper is called: Li Shi Jingjing, and she basically responds to all requests. It happened to rain during the few days we stayed, so there were not many people and it was very quiet. Also because of the rain, the misty rain was another scene. It was quite unexpected that the Chinese restaurant was delicious. The breakfast was made by an auntie nearby. The dishes and rice for lunch and dinner were good, and the price was acceptable."

The booked room is right next to the river, and you can see the clear Xin'an River flowing slowly from the room. The moment I opened the door, I was hit by a blast of cold air—haha, this was the coolest room I've stayed in all summer! There's also a balcony with a table where you can eat and drink with friends. And there's an infinity pool, which the kids love to play in. We went swimming at 11 am, and there was an uncle cleaning the pool while a lifeguard was supervising. It was a very fun trip!"
