"Old hotel rooms, smelly and dirty bathroom, no hot water, and the most uncomfortable bed that I ever slept on (akin to a wood plank). There was a dirty bucket and a previous guest's hair left in the drain in the bathroom, which turned me completely off in addition to the damp odor. Thankfully once I sprayed some lemon sanitizer and cracked the bathroom door to air it out, the smell neutralized a little. But I was already turned off. They have renovated some rooms, but I did not get one of those and it's disappointing to see the difference, which is vast. There is also barely any sound insulation. I have no problem with a little noise, but there is live music every night at the rooftop bar for about 3-4 hours and you hear EVERYTHING. So no quiet time or early sleeping nights. Aside from that, the food was pretty great and the location was central to the main sites, but it is not worth the other minuses to stay here. Do not recommend!"

"Uitstekend verblijf in Golden Tulip Centre Jaipur Wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in dit hotel. De kamer was schoon, ruim en de bedden waren zeer comfortabel waardoor we heerlijk hebben geslapen. Het ontbijt was uitstekend met veel keuze. Het is voornamelijk gericht op de Indiase keuken, maar dat is natuurlijk logisch en juist leuk wanneer je in India verblijft. Alles was vers en goed verzorgd. Het diner wordt aangeboden in buffetvorm, maar je kunt ook à la carte bestellen. De prijzen zijn normaal en de kwaliteit van het eten is goed. Wat dit hotel echt bijzonder maakt is het vriendelijke en behulpzame personeel. Iedereen is gastvrij en doet zijn best om het verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken. In het bijzonder willen wij mevrouw Su*** van de bediening bedanken voor haar geweldige service en goede zorgen. Zij is ontzettend vriendelijk en zeer gastvrij. Het zwembad is heerlijk om even af te koelen na een warme dag in Jaipur. Een kleine tip: er zijn veel duiven rondom het zwembad waardoor er soms duivenpoep ligt. Ook zouden een paar parasols bij het zwembad of op het terras prettig zijn, zodat je lekker in de schaduw kunt zitten en van een drankje kunt genieten. Al met al een uitstekend hotel met goede service. Wij zouden hier zeker weer verblijven en kunnen het hotel absoluut aanbevelen"

"We verbleven twee nachten in dit heel mooie hotel. De authenticiteit wordt enorm bewaard, men doet heel veel moeite om het gebouw en inhoud in ere te houden. De kamers zijn heel ruim (wij namen een suite)en van alle moderne gemakken voorzien. Wij namen een formule ontbijt en diner inclusief. Hoewel het eten sterk Indisch geïnspireerd is, is het helemaal niet moeilijk om telkens heel smakelijk te eten. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam. Dit is zonder twijfel het beste hotel tijdens onze reis door India"

The resort is also very conveniently connected to the Ring Road, making it easy to access while still giving you the feeling of staying at a beautiful property with all the modern and luxurious amenities. The staff is extremely supportive, courteous, and welcoming. I would especially like to mention Ms. Sapna, who served us at the Bandhni Restaurant. She was exceptionally courteous, polite, and attentive throughout our experience. Her warm and professional service really added to our celebration. To make the occasion even more special, the hotel thoughtfully arranged a complimentary birthday cake for my wife, which was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. "We loved staying at this picturesque boutique-style Haveli when visiting Jaipur. It is well located in the inner city and close to all the bazaars and sites. The previous reviews ring true in that the constant hooting noise doesn't affect your stay nor sleep quality despite being amongst the hustle and bustle of the city. We had an executive suite and our children aged 11 and 8 could easily be accommodated in this room. The coffee machine in the bedroom was a really welcome addition. Breakfast was a la carte with a wide range of cuisines and simply fantastic! There are also very healthy choices to choose from and the very lovely team do everything to make you happy. You definitely will never leave hungry! We had dinner twice here as we liked it so much the first time and all dishes were freshly prepared and so tasty - I particularly liked the aubergine dish and the morning Shakshouka! At the time of our stay we felt there weren't many people eating breakfast nor dinner so often we were by ourselves and felt at times a bit watched by the many staff floating around. I would say however that this Haveli is on the very expensive side when comparing the nightly rate to the many excellent five star hotels further outside the city which we were also fortunate enough to stay in during our stay. So don't think you get value for money here! Also, I should note that I booked this place because it came advertised with a pool on the rooftop, thinking our children could cool down after a busy day out but don't be fooled - this is tiny and only looks lovely in the marketing brochure. Our children would not want to swim in there. Luckily it didn't bother us too much as there was so much to do in Jaipur other than swimming! Despite the high price I would still recommend Padmaa for the style conscious traveller staying here for a couple of nights."

"This is a very beautiful hotel with beautiful and comfortable rooms. Far exceeded my expectations. I would recommend it to anyone. By the gate find Bobby and his tuk tuk, best way to get through the Jaipur traffic and maximize your time. Bobby is a fantastic human and I hope you have as much fun hanging out with him as I did. He can take you anywhere - Amber fort, city palace, monkey temple."
