Hotels in Tanabe met Wifi

"Faciliteiten: Er is ontbijt, wat vooral belangrijk is voor wandelaars op de Kumano Kodo. De eerste bus naar Kumano Kodokan, de dichtstbijzijnde halte bij het hotel, vertrekt om 6:47 uur. Het ontbijt begint om 6:30 uur, zodat u direct na het eten kunt vertrekken zonder vertraging. Schoonmaak: Schoon en goed! De douches zijn duidelijk aangegeven met de verschillende soorten. Omgeving: De hotelkamers bieden een adembenemend uitzicht, vooral tijdens het wachten op de lift. Het geeft perfect het gevoel van een uitzicht inlijsten weer, een stijl die vaak wordt geassocieerd met zowel de Chinese als de Japanse cultuur. Service: Uitstekend! Echt waar, zoals u kunt zien op de vele foto's die ik heb geplaatst, is het echt uitzonderlijk. Koffie en thee zijn verkrijgbaar op de begane grond. Ik had het geluk dit hotel te kiezen voor mijn Kumano Kodo-wandeling; het ligt vlakbij een FamilyMart, aan de overkant van het spoor is een Lawson en naast station Kiitanabe is een 7-Eleven."

"It was my first experience of Japanese hot springs and I enjoyed it a lot. First of all, I'd like to thank a male staff who met me during check-in. He welcomed me warmly, explained all the details of my stay and helped to carry my bag to the room. Unfortunately, the female personnel wasn't that much friendly the next day when I asked for some help with my luggage. The rooms have a splendid view of a forest and a river, old style Japanese but with some modern facilities. The meal aren't a traditional Ryokan type but are still quite enjoyable with sushi and wagyu beef as a starter. In general, I can say it's a mix of traditional Japanese and moredn western style hotel in one. If you're lucky and avoid the days when the hotel is crowded you'd be able to enjoy the river view from the onsed in quiet. Unfortunately, the water in the outdoor wasn't as clear as I expected. But the rest was just amazing."

"We stayed here the night before we ventured to the Kumano Kodo. It was perfect for this: it’s located right next to the train station which makes arriving by train and leaving by bus quite easy. Also, the restaurants and izakayas are close by so you can have a good evening with your travel companions. The staff was very friendly, the rooms very clean und the breakfast ok. I’d book again!"

"Good Onsen style hotel with sea view near to Kii-Tanabe station (very convenient if you will start a walking rout of Kumano Kodo starting from Kii-Tanabe). The hotel is a little bit old fashion but every corner of the room and public spaces were in very good conditions. Just be careful because there is some rooms with private toilet but with shared shower/bath, considering that is a Onsen style hotel (we booked a twin room with private toilet but we never image that the bath/shower was shared in the Onsen facilities)."

"This is a great guesthouse with onsen. I love it . There’s an open onsen & close onsen privately .  That’s a nice kitchen & dining room. You may buy from the guesthouse  to cook on your own. Such as instant noodles. Very well organised. Thanks."

"I was about to give bad reviews due to some poor check-in experience, but everything after check in is so good that compensates this journey. First, the check-in process that brings me with bad experience: it is self-served and there is no any staff. By rights you should receive an instruction email with check-in PIN in advance, which I heard from other guests. However, I didn’t receive anything but Trip’s confirmation letter and I was unable to check in. And my sim card in Japan is just an internet card unable to make phone calls, which means I have no way to contact the hotel directly. My partner and I were desperately locked out of the hotel in the evening, after 7h hiking, with no other available hotel in the mountain. After waiting for over 1 hour, other guests helped us to enter the admin room where there is an ipad to call the hotel (why not make it available to guests without checking in?), and with the help of Trip’s agency, we finally checked in successfully. Then here is the staying experience: so good that makes me almost forgive the poor check-in experience. Each room is a spacious individual house and ours has a garden for BBQ. The food is also self-served, with the cooking stuffs and ingredients in the fridge. It was unexpected that you need to cook yourself (I don’t think it was listed on room info when I booked it), but it’s not bad that Wagyu, chicken, and vegetables are served. The rooms are big and cozy, and you can do the laundry after hiking. Everything is good about the hotel itself, just be aware of the self-checkin process and make sure you get the instructions before that."

"This hotel is perfect for a relaxing one day stay. It’s right beside a sapphire-blue river in the middle of the mountains. The in-room onsen is more than big enough for two people and they also have communal baths. They also offer a free shuttle to the start of a stretch of the Kumano Kodo if you want to hike the next day."

"The facilities and cleanliness were excellent, but because it's so new, there was still a strong smell of renovation. I had emailed ahead to inform them I'd be arriving late, and received a reply saying it was absolutely fine. However, upon arrival, the front desk was completely unstaffed, there were insects everywhere, and no code was provided to open the door to the self-service counter. Eventually, the Trip.com customer service actively contacted staff, and after waiting 25 minutes, I finally got the code for the front desk door. Only then could I self-check-in and get the room code. There was no other assistance throughout the whole process. I genuinely don't recommend this place for late arrivals."

"Large room with a great view of sea, clean and cozy. I was arriving late which passed the check-in hours due to flight delay. My sim card cannot make phone calls in Japan and I was afraid of not being able to check in. Fortunately, the front-desk gentleman was waited for us until midnight and helped us check in. And he guided us to find the vending machine to find the food even not speaking English. It’s a very positive experience to live here."

"３ This is the first user. The facility itself has been around for years, so it's fun to confuse new facilities with old-fashioned facilities. The service of the staff is polite and kind to greatly recover the old equipment. This is the first time I feel that the cleaning staff is not enough, but I want to go again. The meal is also very delicious."
